Sailing New Zealand: Dreams are hard work!! Ep.16

This episode is all about the big step of renting out the house and starting to live on anchor. So far, we have cashed out of my former business, a car sales yard, purchased a boat in Tahiti and sailed it back to New Zealand to have a baby. But there are still big projects in the way of us becoming full-time cruisers. The house needs cleaning, painting and landscaping. The Tender needs repair, the water maker does not work and packing up all the junk from the house. Come along as we knock off these big projects and cast free to live on anchor. You lose a land cruiser and a boat, adventure toys, to start a new adventure on another toy. She loses an entire way of life, an attained goal, symbols of success in her career, her chosen image of how she presents herself to the world. So Yogi wins that one. However I think she's also making the biggest gain in this instance, swapping material and societal success for nature, family, adventure and a chance at true, deep contentment and happiness on the sea 😁
