Sailing past the massive aircraft carrier USS Nimitz

Check out this incredible video showing the might and majesty of the supercarrier U.S.S. Nimitz (CVN-68), recorded while I was taking a U.S. Navy tour of the harbor. The Nimitz has been called by former officers "1,100 feet of American diplomacy" and has been prominently featured all throughout pop culture as one of the most famous carriers in modern history. I consider it an honor to be able to see her up close like this. Apologies for the sound, I recorded this with my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 cell phone and the waves sound like static through the small microphone.
