I was planning on taking a 50+ Ft long Catamaran. Your suggestion is to put it on a truck and drive it up to No. Cal?

My 2 cents - sailing from Southern CA to Northern CA - don't do it by a sailboat - take a Truck boat ;-) It's uphill, against the wind and current - not a lot of fun.
