Same here , I only just found you in the past half-hour . Very nice film work ... I saw a couple masterpieces . I wonder if you would like Barry ( Bazza ) Perrins of The Adventures of an Old Sea Dog channel... he's a down-to-earth guy , good sense of humor ...last I saw , he was at the Tuamotus group islands , hope I spelled it right . It’s a fine vessel for a glass boat,plenty solid,and not likely to break up in adverse conditions.All the timber craftsmanship lends itself to a wooden boat feel like you say,I wouldn’t be ashamed to sail this one🙂

The Nicholson 38 was designed by Camper & Nicholsons in 1965 as a ketch motor-sailer. C&N came to an arrangement with John Alden to modify his Mistral design which had previously been moulded by Halmatic, this included increasing the length and freeboard with new hull and deck moulds, arrangement and rig.

Totally agree the Best fiberglass boats are laid up thick. Does she have a rudder indicator, help to stop stalling at the end of the tack.

Ahoy Pete, Yes She does have a rudder indicator albeit, it is integral to the Autohelm which was out of commission at the time. Good point and well observed.
