Glad you enjoyed it. We definitely need to work on capturing more video when it's a bit crazy. But we'll keep working on it!

If you aren't aware we also do a blog every night of a passage via predictwind. This passage Kevin had received an email from someone following our track and seeing the big seas ahead for our last night, asking what music would go with the 10' to 15' seas we were expecting. This Beasties Boys blog was the answer. www.svgargoyle.com/captain-blog

It's tricky and we didn't have many good options. Cayman Islands have extremely strict entry regulations and enforcement but totally worth it. We ended up with a combined quarantine time between the 5 plus day passage and then the 16 plus days in quarantine here with 22 days of quarantine. All verified with two different PCR tests, day 0 and then day 15.

Great video! We were wondering how many miles did you cover each day of your passage?
@SailingGargoyle3 жыл бұрын
Around 120 or so. Our buddy boat was slower in light winds so the first two days were less miles and on our last day we did 165 with the heavier winds.

Where do you sleep while off watch? In the aft cabin or at the salon couch?
@SailingGargoyle Жыл бұрын
Usually the aft cabin but sometimes the port saloon couch. Starboard couch is too short. 95% aft cabin though and we just switch ends for our heads based on the tack.

@@SailingGargoyle do you have a lee cloth in the aft cabin?
@SailingGargoyle Жыл бұрын
No lee cloth. Our aft bunk is a queen that's angled so that by simply changing our orientation head to foot we're able to sleep well. It's actually a great configuration.
