Nice to see another tartan. We have the same boat up here in Newfoundland. Ours is a 97, with a sugar scoop stern. Otherwise identical.

Great to hear. It is funny how people either love them or hate them. My wife would love the sugar scoop. The Tartan 3500 is a slow boat, but fun to sail and great to spend multiple days aboard. Saw the new Tartan 37 at the Annapolis Sail Boat Show last year -- way out of our price range but absolutely gorgeous.

She is our first boat, and we are very happy so far. We have a 140 Genoa so plenty of power for us as learners.

We have a 140 genoa as well, but thankfully it is on a rolling furler so is infinitely adjustable. Great to work on some projects in the winter as you dream of sailing. We are starting our trip down the Atlantic ICW a week from tomorrow. Can't wait.
