Good video... What was up with the rudder?
@AnnieFord19 жыл бұрын
Fumingzeus Thank you! The rudder bearings had become worn during the passage, causing a bit of movement. We replaced both the top and bottom bearing and have had no problems since! :)

Great videos. You guys should make the most of this, n get one vid up a week. The more vids you have the wider the net for more viewers. Long after you've finished your trip around the world, the channel will bring in cash, along with Patreon if you use it (you should). The channel could fund all your adventures. Make the most of it.

Hey +NeonsStyle, thank you for your advice! It's very hard learning all these options while out at sea with no internet! I would love to share more videos, it has provided me with an incredible global community of like-mined, passionate and inspirational people. I will work towards lining a few more up when I get a few days off! Thank you again for your advice :)

Annie Ford It's difficult to get all those vids out per week, but really it's so important. If you go a few months with out uploading, you lose views, that means you close click throughs which means you lose income. As for that, go to Patreon (u know com) and set up a campaign. Make a link to it on the banner of ur channel links, then make sure u make a call to action at the end of ur videos. You won't have to worry about ppl not watching all of it, as they will, since they are good vids. Enable KZbin Fan donations in video manager. But Most of all, upload regularly. Ppl want thier fav shows at the same time each week/fortnight. Even if it's just an update of what's holding things up. Twitter notes to ur subs/patreons. Go take a look at Delos, those guys really know how to do patreon, they are making $4500 per video just from Patreon. Happy Sailing... hopefully ur channel will fund it all. :)

You guys need to show yhe boat and also make the videos a little longer. Once you get an bigger viewing audience you can start getting money coming in from KZbin/Google. You should also include an buy us a beer donation tab sort of like the guys on SV Delos have. You should watch some of their videos. They have got pretty good at editing and giving a pretty entertaining 20 to 30 minute segment each time. I can't wait until I can get an boat. I sailed the world for five years in the U.S. Navy but want an live aboard sailboat bad.
