Slap bracelet boat hook! I would be interested in a provisioning video. I love learning about the logistics behind the scenes.

The hook has been a great space saver. We’ve had a few people ask for a provisioning ep so perhaps we will work on how to share that.

1) never trust the people whose Job it is to forecast the weather. 2) French Polynesia have better maintained balls than the Caribbean morning balls. I am sure that will make them happy.😂 Enjoyed another entertaining video. Good way to pass the time, why I wait for the delivery truck.

They always say weather forecasting is one of the few jobs where you can be wrong most of the time and never get fired for it. 😂 as for the moorings, we saw some pretty sketchy moorings back in the Caribbean (one of the reasons we will always prefer to anchor). If us highlighting these ones inspires a little competitive spirit then I guess everyone wins 😜

Great video like always! Boats are just all build in a way that for access to one bolt you need to disassemble half the boat to get to it. Don't you just love boats? Question how much power does Inav4U consume, or is that depending on what systems you attach to it?
@RedSeas
@RedSeas 3 ай бұрын
I wonder if that’s part of the final exam for some boat builders. “You must make it near impossible to access this single bolt. You have 30 minutes, go” 😂 The iNav4U server consumes 7W so we are pretty comfortable leaving it on 24/7. The basic sensors around the boat are just the same sensors you would use for wind, gps, speed thru water etc so when we are sailing, they are powered up anyway.

Hey guys, why are your batteries too low to drive the autopilot while you're motoring? Don't you have alternators?
@RedSeas
@RedSeas 3 ай бұрын
Great question. We do have alternators but our instruments and autopilot are powered from our lithium house bank. Unfortunately our internationally regulated alternators are not able to charge lithium directly. We do have the ability to charge thru a dc to dc charge controller but the current is significantly limited.

In a parallel world wouldn’t it be great if slot water was good for your face? 🥺. I read swimming in the Dead Sea is good for your skin. They also say mud from the Swedish volcano springs is really good for you. So salt water on the skin should logically be good for the skin…but it’s not….who invented that, as they need a good talking too for making that the rule…😂

Just a question…. Why you don’t have an alternator on your engines to charge your batteries too??
@RedSeas
@RedSeas 3 ай бұрын
Great question. So we do have alternators on each engine (120A each) however, our house batteries are lithium (LiFePO4) and the alternators are internally regulated and not able to directly charge the house batteries. The lithium batteries are too greedy and so the alternators could get damaged. We have some DC-DC chargers that bridge the gap between the two systems however these aren’t really up to the task. It’s an ongoing challenge for us and we are hoping to find a fix for it in the near future.

I think you're random weather os duevto the extreme sea warming thats been widespread early this year ... Its generating rising storm heads out over the ocean in the Adlantic NOAA is watching Storm Beryl spinning in already over record hot seas.. and saying things like 🤷🏻 unprecidented. .. so you're not alone with wierd weather.
