Sailing Upwind to Cooper Island - SV Cabo #83

We raise the mainsail while on the mooring ball and set sail from there. Our destination is Cooper Island and it is an upwind sail. Dennis takes his turn at the helm and we make several tacks to make our way up the Sir Francis Drake Channel. We go snorkeling at Cistern Point but there is not much to see today.
We go ashore at the Cooper Island Beach Club and have an amazing dinner our last evening together in the BVI. After dinner we take a short walk to the rum bar to see their wares.
The next morning, we make our way to the Mooring Base in Road Town Tortola. We get tied up and settled and finish packing. While we wait for our taxi, Claus and I take a walk and find his new boat that just arrived. We sneak aboard and take a look around. Everything looks great.
It is time to say farewell. We get to the airport check in and we have some time, so we walk to the Loose Mongoose and relax and reminisce about the great week we have had in the BVI with Claus, Theresa, Dennis and Phyllis.
