I had a really great time overall and I highly recommend sailing through Virgin Voyages if you're looking for a relaxing, kid-friendly atmosphere with great food and nightlife. congratulations for going solo on your cruise....I've done several solo and did VV to New Zealand in March ....65 years old....easy to meet folks on VV..great ships and good food....good for you!

where did you book your cruise? im so jealous you got a terrace room to yourself! those were like $4k, if it was just going to be me in the room. i got the cheapest room w/o a window, haha, it was $1600. as a solo sailor.

I actually booked through a travel agent. Their business is called “Journey to Discover travel” and i booked during a Black Friday sale so keep an eye out for those too!
