I always travel solo - it's the best! My ever first cruise is in 50 days on the Scarlet Lady, I'm flying over from the UK. Happy to hear there's a solo meet-up, I'm also quite introverted and have a bit of a fear over the whole part thing, especially as I'm 55!

NEW SUBSCRIBER!! Enjoyed your vlog!! I'm also a solo traveler and will be taking my first trip next year on a Princess ship. I considered doing Virgin but thought I wanted to see what a more traditional cruise experience was like before diving into a kind of non-traditional one. I have heard excellent things about Virgin's food so I'm excited to try it; I'm glad you showed your day. I think as a solo traveler, it's best to see what options are available that are both free and paid so you can have some variety. The best thing about being a solo traveler is you can do whatever you want when you want to! I'm a writer AND reader so I'm hoping to make it a celebration cruise for finishing my first novel (I hope) and starting a new novel (I hope)! I see you read a lot as well so I'm excited to look at your channel for travel stuff and book stuff. I'm middle-aged but young at heart so I think I'll be ok with Virgin. And if not, I can always use the experience in my writing! LOL. Alright, I'm off to view more videos!

omg tysm for making this video!!! was looking for a solo cruise virgin video! why? bc i am doing it in august! to the carribbean too :) i am sooo glad to hear they do a. solo traveler meet up and chat! i am like you too, introverted and cool on my own but worry about the party parts alone. good on you for going!! was it awkward? im worried i will feel so out of place alone at those nighttime events...

Oh Lord girl you are braver than I lol! I am 38 and never once have I traveled anywhere too far solo! I'd say I have a certain bubble or catchment area where I'm always by myself but traveling even outside the state I probably would not go by myself just because the way the world is but hands down kudos to you and be safe and have a blast! I'm assuming you're already back home now and I'm commenting at the very beginning of the video so my apologies if that is set at the end of the video! If thats the case I hope you had a blast!! 😉😁

Hello! I stayed at the Comfort Inn & Suites Miami International Airport. It was a pretty nice hotel and on the cheaper side in comparison to a lot of hotels in the area. The free shuttles were a bonus plus free breakfast in the morning!

@@mofelata getting on the ship in Miami, it was enclosed so I really didn’t notice being up higher and it didn’t bother me. Getting off the ship at port it was pulled right up to the docks and it was a short ramp (again height not noticeable!)
