I think I've finally settled on the chain of command: two perpetual-motion velociraptors, the baby, the dog and two deckhands. Excellent.

Always wanted to anchor on the south side , much less of a ‘mad house’ on the main harbor side! Cheers Warren

You guys are an inspiration for sure!!! I keep seesawing between sail and trawler! The loop vs the Bay! I’m in SD now and will drift east again in November. Keep doing what you’re doing! So far it’s working!!!❤🎉

Hellloooo! The birds are adjusting so well, I hope off camera too! LOL! The area for them you created is great! Harry is growing so fast. Wisdom is handling it all too! I hope the bracelet is a game changer. Praying for our day to be adventurous on the Chesapeake. Be well , fair winds. Looking forward to the Boat Show 😎⛵️⚓️

Is there still a restaurant at Perry's Cabin? The food there was soooo good. Haven't been there for forty years.

Good that you have a “Cage” for the Birds😜…Continue to Stay Safe and Enjoy 😎

It’s a nautical cage, made out of rope netting and wood :)

Great that you are sailing again. I'm looking for a video you did where a dyneema ball stem failed? I don't think this is correct, but someone told me you had a video of this. I have 2 Isomat masts with many ballstem fittings and am looking for an affordable way to accommodate a dyneema rig without buying a whole bunch(12!) $$$ ballstem dyneema transition fittings
@RiggingDoctorАй бұрын
I have it covered in blog posts: www.riggingdoctor.com/life-aboard/2016/11/7/cost-of-conversion?rq=Islander%20 this one talks about it. These are all the posts from that job: www.riggingdoctor.com/search?q=Islander%20

I bought a Crab Claw Tshirt in '88. Of course the crabs were as good as it gets but the shirt finally gave up the ghost 30 years later. Quick question.... are the skipjacks still there?
@sailorstu2 ай бұрын
I think you should write them about the shirt. They will either send you another one, or tell you to return and buy another. If I was the manager, I would send you a new shirt or 2, plus hats, plus a buy one , get one free meal coupon for your next visit. From a business point of view, it's a very affordable promotion.

IMHO there are 3 types of people, 1. Those who would never even think of stepping on a boat. We generally call them Boring. 2. Those who dream of boating, but will never take the step. We can call them Normal. 3. Those of us who live out our dreams. The first group would call us Crazy 😖 The second group looks at us with envy, and says they wish they could do the same. They usually have an excuse not too, often financial or family obligations. However, we generally considered ourselves as happy, or living the life. I personally like being in this group

The answer to the video title is, Yes, but not for the reasons you believe. Two parrots are okay, two adults are okay, a baby is okay, a dog is Not Okay. Why? Because the adults, the parrots, and the baby, can poo anywhere, however, the dog must be taken to landlubber grass to poo, and that makes the dog unmanageable.

Howdy Herbie and Maddie... Happy to see ya'll decided NOT to be one of THOSE cruisers...! (Babies and such)... I know of a very famous cruiser couple that paraded 2 boys ASAP that I don't really watch for quite sometime namely: S/V Wisdom does the best job at sailing culture: Sailing, tips, technique, food, places, artifacts, things-to-do, maintenance, electric sailboat, destinations, boat shows, gear, galley, hull, mast, deck, propulsion... Atlantic and Caribe cruise/sailing... And more the S/V duo do it all... Fair Winds...
