Sailing yacht docking - needs improvement. What would you do?

It looks like they were pushed by the wind from stern and he didn't have enough momentum to turn sideways against the wind.

That’s what i would have done, gone past the berth and reverse into the wind and glide on, no need for a tender or all that forward speed.
