An interesting insight. Thanks for sharing. As a comparison, growing up as an Army brat (British) by the time I was 10, we had lived in 6 different places, moving to number 7, in 4 different countries, in 3 different continents (Europe, Africa, Asia) and I was in my 4th school. In the next 8 years, another 3 moves, another school and 2 colleges to add to the mix and we still weren't done. After Uni (another 3 moves) I then spent a decade in the Army myself living and working in at least another 10 locations. The concept of 'home' is something I am still trying to work out at the age of 52.

So I watched the intro as usual and thought, "Well, this will be good to watch as I eat dinner." What started out as a normal vlog quickly turned into a documentary and then a docudrama when you sold Catalpa. I used the right cursor key to speed things up when I saw Bella crack her nose. Listening to the Indonesians talking about their camper van excursion was very interesting and surprising. And then, at the end, when you reached the top of the volcano, I fully expected to see Lee come over the ridge in a helicopter to rescue you all. A great video. Thanks for the ride. See you next week.

Hey! I didn know about Catalpa 1, I can imagine how hard it must be to let go your boat after those amazing years sailing across Indonesia, but I understand you need a better one to circumnavigate the world. My last trip to Banda was in Nov 2022 for a week, and I also stayed at Abba´s Cilubintang Estate. It was my fourth visit. Usually, I hike up Gunung Api every time, but this time I didn't because my friend wanted to learn scuba diving, it was her first time. Now I miss hiking up that mountain after seeing this video.

Just found your channel , WOW , you have a great family and a great circle of friends . Down side is , this was your last posting on your home , " CATALPA " . The boat is a big part of the journey , but it's the Family , the Crew and the Friends that makes it a HOME . I am safe in saying , that your NEW HOME will be an amazing place once you get on board and set sail . But I will say that , you are an amazing Mum , 3 kids and a Husband to look after . Climbing that Mountain was awesome , it showed how fit you ( Mum ) are and how you would run rings around the 2 YOUNG GIRLS 😁😁😁😁. To put it bluntly , you are a Mean , Lean fighting machine . Honestly look forward to the next chapters in your Lives.
