Glad you enjoyed it Chris :) and it's always nice to know people are enjoying them! I feel Australia is really getting smashed this year, everyone is saying that it just rains haha. Total opposite here, 38 degrees and hot haha. Talk soon mate

Really enjoyable videos guys. How far down the Turkish coast are you planning to travel?

Hi Shane, thanks very much! We are around 4 weeks behind in our videos and have travelled to Kas and Kekova but need to leave Turkey by late July, so have just sailed today to Bodrum. Spent some time in Datca, have had the best time :). Thanks for watching

How's the grey water sitch in Turkey? Is it enforced?
@SailingKawai2 жыл бұрын
Hi, the rule we have been told is every 15 days needs to be pumped out, we just follow the rule as the fines are large but we have never been checked. Costs are about 130tl, usually the amount doesn't matter. Hope that helps :)

There is a beautiful little bay at Limanağzı just past Kaş. You snorkel with sea turtles in the bay. The Lycian way runs down the mountain behind Kaş to Limanağzı and beyond. You can hike up to the top of the mountain from the town or take a dolmuş to the small village at the top and walk back to Kaş. The view from the top will take your breath away. I used to watch the sun drop into the sea from the top then start running down the Lycian way to Kaş racing the twilight to get down before it got too dark to see the trail.

Thanks Vincent, appreciate the suggestions, unfortunately we have visited Kas already as our videos are approximately 4 weeks behind. We have since returned to Datca and are getting ready to sail to Greece. We did visit Kekova also and managed to visit some of the ruins which were fantastic. We loved the area :). Thanks for getting in contact and hope you enjoyed the video!

Nice one guys. Loved it. We miss Fethiye and the fresh produce in those markets. Spare a thought for the people of Türkiye also. Those Lettuce have gone up four times the price within the year, maybe more. Anyway cheers guys and see ya on the next vid.

Hey bud, great, hope it brings back good memories :). Yeah it's cheap for us but I know inflation in Turkey is out of control. Monthly wages are so low compared to Oz, so it would make the cost of living hard to bear. Hope all is well in Australia, just out of curiosity what does a lettuce cost these days? Take care guys
@pedropedroztravels82722 жыл бұрын
@@SailingKawai Still around 8 to 10 bucks mate. We are growing our own these days . Lettuce that is 😁. Also its still raining on the East Coast, it's freakin unbelievable the amount of water that has fallen in NSW and QLD in the past 6 to 7 months. Anyway keep loving life and Be safe guys, yous are killing it. 👍

Great video again. You are both crazy walking to Kayakoy in that heat! A few years ago my wife and I visited the deserted town, after a 20 minute climb to the top of the village my wife said it was too hot to continue, I tricked her into continuing to the top by telling her there was a bar who served cold beer!! She was very gullible. Keep up the good work 👏
@SailingKawai2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Patrick, we did think it was a little silly a couple hours in hahaha. Nice move, we were hoping to find a nice little bar that served drinks :). Glad you enjoyed the video mate and thanks for letting us know, take care

@@SailingKawai Around the island of Evia - close to the mainland, very local and authentic with not too many non-Greek tourists. First time in Greece so nothing to compare it to but I am hooked! Can't wait for your next video!
