Elayna heard mama. Riley heard wawawawa. However what Lenny said was: "Father. Mother. Whilst laying there watching you guys sleep at 3:00 AM, I began to wonder about man & the universe. Most certainly, some planets are not inhabited, but others are, and among these there must exist life under all conditions and phases of development. What do you say Father?"

Hi Bob, I sense that Lenny's musing lean more towards literature, as in, "Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, Or to take arms against a SEA of troubles And by opposing end them. To die-to sleep, No more; and by a sleep to say we end The heart-ache and the thousand natural shocks That flesh is heir to: 'tis a consummation Devoutly to be wish'd." It's the natural effect of growing up on a yacht.

very existential...:)
@rickemmet11045 жыл бұрын
@@dubdub4862 Of course I could be entirely wrong here, Lenny could have been saying, "You talkin' to me? You want a piece of this, huh?" And the whole time wondering just what a New Jersey accent sounds like. Well, he'll find out soon enough!

Lenny’s expression at 5:44 is hilarious. He’s all happy with his food, when Elayna asks if she can have some, and immediately Lenny’s facial expression says... *_No, it’s mine._*

"I've got about 80 degrees to play with". Good way to describe it, and nice explanation on some of the thinking and process behind handling the variable winds. Good for non-sailors to learn some info
@hayseedguy5 жыл бұрын
I know you guys already know how lucky you are. I want to tell you what that looks like from the outside. Of course, your sailing life is what everyone points to, the ability to go where you want and do what you do. But the success I see is borne more in the way you compliment your skills. Elana has the artist touch in every video she produces and Riley has the technical skill and wherewithal to do all those things necessary to run a sailboat full-time, not an easy task. I'm pretty confident, neither of you could accomplish all you want in life alone. And that, to me anyway, is the best part of your youtube channel. We know it's all not rainbows and fairytales. But what you share is full of how much you both love what you're doing. I am proud to inhabit the same planet as you. PS: I'm old and retired but if I were not on a limited budget, you guys would both get a percentage of my income. Thanks to all the Patreons who contribute so those of us without the means can still enjoy your videos.

Some great Lenny footage. He's getting into an interesting period of development. MIT's found some wild stuff: “Infants are far from experiencing the world as a ‘blooming, buzzing confusion,’” says lead author Shari Liu, referring to a description by philosopher and psychologist William James about a baby’s first experience of the world. “They interpret people's actions in terms of hidden variables, including the effort [people] expend in producing those actions, and also the value of the goals those actions achieve."
