A few years ago I complained that your 9-12 minute videos weren’t long enough. Over the years they’ve slowly gotten longer but now at just over an hour in length, I think they’re absolutely awesome. It’s so nice being able to binge on a short film or just watch a quick clip for now and come back tomorrow for the rest. Thank you for allowing us into your lives, it’s been an epic journey and I’m sure we all look forward to see what comes next. Cheers!!

These hour long videos are fantastic, giving us more on what they get up to in their daily sails and adventures. But let's not forget it's these videos that have helped pay for them to survive each day on the boat . Over time, they have become more professional in their videoing skills, which are now bang on. The patronage site has probably helped to fund what cameras, microphones, and drones they have been able to buy over the years and with their learning skills has helped to make these great videos for us to watch. Always watch this channel's love watching the boys and how quickly they have grown. I 2:31 got so excited when I saw they had uploaded another video as last time I heard Rhiley had posted that there would not be another video until the 26th of June!! Stay safe guys..

Maybe I’m the minority, but I’d prefer three 20 min vids spaced out across the week… I end up skipping through lots of the b-roll, talking head segments, etc. (Note, if I can’t finish the video - meaning ‘watching’ it all at once - I just won’t watch it at all).

Seeing how proud Riley was of his firstborn when Forrest thanked Lenny for being such a good big brother was my favourite part of the video. It was such a sweet moment. I love how Forrest thanked Lenny for that, it’s very respectful and such a nice way of interacting with a child.

It sure was a sweet moment. If we are blessed with having a big brother that takes care of us like that, it’s such a treat. Mine left the earth much too early when I sure wish she was around today since everybody else is gone. No fun being the last one standing. You certainly have taught Lenny very well or perhaps it’s just in him, and he’s been turning into a very nice kid.

As a momma of two VERY different boys, yep. They are both all grown up, but I remember these feelings so well. The roles were reversed, because my oldest is autistic to a degree that affects his communication skills to rather medium degree, so his younger brother would have to come to me and let me know if something was going on. When his younger brother was very little, I would have to have a line of sight so see his older brother's body language to see what was going on. Their father was mostly not involved, so I think anything Riley does is amazing.

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. You see, we all have sinned, and have broken God’s law (The Ten Commandments). Wrong doing deserves justice and must be punished (just like how a criminal has to pay for the crime they have committed) but God saved us from the eternal punishment of our sins by sending His Son Jesus Christ, fullness of God in flesh, to pay the penalty for us by dying on the cross and resurrecting, so that we may have everlasting life. Now for you to accept the free gift of grace, you must repent of your sins and put your faith in Jesus Christ and Bible says that His Blood will cover all of your sins, you will be forgiven, saved from eternal punishment, and be given everlasting life. By faith you will receive the Holy Spirit, become born again and He will transform your heart and clean you from the inside out. Turn away from sin, read the Bible, pray for the Holy Spirit to fill you and change you, obey the Word. Much love and God bless you!

Guys, I have to say. These longer uncut videos are just great. I've explained to the family that this is something that we would really enjoy together while the kids are still young. And showing the good and bad is very helpful. It gives everyone a realistic expectation. But seriously, Darwin falling just struck a nerve. Glad that he seems alright. This is one of my biggest fears on a boat with little ones. The wife didn't like it, but I appreciate it and I know why you did it. Thank you for it and for educating everyone that it really is something to watch out for. Also wanted to say thanks for mostly keeping the language clean. The 4.5 year old loves you guys and loves watching the boys because their close in age. So, kids having fun or hearing their thoughts is really entertaining for the older one here. As such, bleeping out the language is really appreciated. Good luck on the next chapter. Stay safe and prayers for you all.

Ive watched you guys now for over 6 years and this is my first comment. Firstly, this is not the first time I've been brought to tears watching your videos. The beauty! Your family dynamic, hearing n seeing how very happy the boys are when they see you after either of you have been away, whether an hour or a day, "Hi MUMMY DADDY!!!" Laughing tears, the best kind! Mind you, I am a 50 year old concrete worker, tears arent a frequent thing for me. I am also a father and a sailor . Thank you both, all 4 of you! So much! I really REALLY liked the music a lot in this one. Riley the commercialized whale shark thing. And having all the boats and people around them. I've came across them 3 times in the wild and as docile as they are and dont seem bothered or agitated by people. Having those people around them who actually care and look out and are mindful etc. Are much better than the typical tourist hoards and idiots in power boats all jockeying for photo ops tryna get their boat selfie pix and random people jumping in and on them etc. Those people you were with, the chum bucket guys, they're also regulators that keep the idiots away or in check.

LaVagabonde continuing to be absolute legends! So much to unpack in this one hour episode. THANK YOU guys, as viewers it is OUR pleasure and the REWARDS are mutual. The lows: Even with fail safes built in, accidents only take seconds. You had no obligation to show Darwin’s fall and the factors that led to it AND you chose to be REAL. I feel this incident is to save the boys from a worser fate (they learned a valuable lesson the hard way and that sticks). Probably by braving any possible critics and giving us raw footage and emotion you have saved another sailor’s child. The leak was suspenseful and serious and you handled like pros. That you help others and do not abandon ship is commendable. You soldiered through keeping the ship and your spirits from sinking - acting as a team under pressure. The highs: Stunning scenery, Nature at its best as Elay termed “Forrest Bathing” @ Waterfall. The Volcano as well epic adventuring into Mother Earth’s finest offerings. I am sure in real life was breathtaking but somehow I really felt as though I was there - With you - Taking it all in. Serenity! Also Forrest (the person) is dreamy and cheery and was so present, patient and persistent in this episode that he won my heart! What a good guy to befriend and sail seas with. Elay & Riley - You both as supportive partners but able to call each other out when necessary and learn from it is the natural progression of a healthy relationship. Proud of your parenting patterns and style and also individual growth; the work you have put in shows and glows from your aura. The boys - Lenny & Darwin: Often stealing the show without effort, they are crushing milestones and making memories galore. Their little bodies and brains work overtime and so apparent they are picking up on the ins and outs of sailing life. The way you play it straight with them will serve them well. Plus their playtime on beaches and exploring islands fills them with ideas and thoughts - stimulation physically and mentally that we are beginning to see translate into their navigation of boyhood life/days. Keep fighting the good fight - We love and support LaVaga! Ps Elay on a small personal note. I also “burned out” same time and same degree (tremors) as you and your posting that realness helped me step through darkness into light. Stay strong Momma, I feel humbled and happy in my journey and hope you feel the same. If it’s not life and death I am not gonna fight or flight it. Perspective & Peace!

Absolutely beautiful! I continue to grow in respect for ya'll and the way you present everything to us. It would have been so easy to leave out the fall and the aftermath, but you did the very brave thing and shared it. I cannot believe how perfectly it was caught on video. I hate that happened to each of you, and I am thankful for all the injuries you have prevented by bringing awareness to how easy it is to have a hatch-related injury. My four kids have not been on a boat yet, but they have had crazy falls and injuries...and been attacked by family member's dogs, etc. Parenting (and spousing) is such a delicate balance of protecting, letting go, monitoring, not hovering too much, etc. All that to say, we are all in the same doing-the-best-we-can "boat." 🙂

I love the hour long video. One can really just relax and get into it. I really love you guys. Growing up in South Florida, my dad owned a drift fishing boat and she was a 63 footer. I was about Lenny’s age when I would go out with my dad, who, of course was the captain and I was just everywhere hanging over the side, holding on to a stanchion. One day it was calm and beautiful, and I was hanging over the side, and there comes a beautiful whale shark, and it was almost as big as my dad‘s boat, the barracuda. Boy, the passengers just love that, and so did I what an experience. I wanted to just step off and ride that beautiful whale shark. I miss the ocean so much but that was 50 years ago. What an AMAZING video ! You guys are fabulous ! Sooo many things happened (good and bad), but you always manage to deal with all this TOGETHER as a FABULOUS team ! I'm soooo glad Darwin and Elayna were ok and that there were no really bad injury. I'm sorry I don't often write comments, but I subscribed and watched EVERY SINGLE video from France since Elayna was pregnant with Leny. It's been a wild journey since then ! I'm SOOO happy Elayna will spend some girl time for her birthday. We (women) need that sooo much ! I hope you're having a good day today. I'm sending you lots of love from here in France ! 🇫🇷 🩷

What an absolute treat this was. I am so thankful for this amazing video. I feel happy, teary, inspired. The world we haven't seen or heard of right here for all of us to enjoy. What an absolute legend your friend [Forest?] was. I absolutely loved the way he reacted when seeing the whales, so much enthusiasm and joie de Vivre, he seemed to be a great help too. The kids are growing so much and are so in tuned, they seem really matured and grounded. Ahh!! That was a great episode to have waited for! Railey, be so proud of yourselves you got the full hour. Thank you guys, may you be having a fantastic time right now, you truly deserve it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, you have gotten me through some very sad times (my lovely dad died 7 months ago) so I really thank you for bringing me so much joy in times of sorrow. Be Blessed

Recently rewatched the entire “sailing with a stowaway” playlist and enjoyed all 227 videos all over again!! I love the hour (1.09+/-) long story. I broke it up over two days. Thanks for this raw, unfiltered special. I am looking forward to more boats and more adventures. Oh, and the look on Lenny's face, when Forest was thanking him for being a good big brother was precious.

This was such an amazing watch! It had everything. who knew that a boat leak would be one of the most exhilarating captivating parts of the whole vid. Really Chuffed to see how Chuffed Lenny was when Forrest was complimenting him for being such a mature helpful big brother. His smile was evidenced of that. He is finding his place. You guys motivate!!!

Wow, what an episode! So glad Darwin was not seriously injured in his fall through the hatch. The whale sharks were amazing, the broken bilge pumps and leaks not so much. We used to own a not-so-new boat so my husband and I understand about things that are old and not in perfect working order. We enjoy watching you guys living life on the water, so we really look forward to the coming episodes. Have a good week.

Another amazing video guys. Seeing Whale Sharks in person is on my bucket list. What an adventure...this video clearly had some highs and lows but it's real. You're capturing every bit of daily life living on a boat. It's work, it's challenging, and it's rewarding as well. Huge thanks for continuing to make such epic video's for us all. So glad little Darwin was ok after that fall, and the boat didn't sink as well! Cheers guys! Keep up the great work!

Firstly I would like to say, how much I love you guys' videos, and how you always are keeping it real. Really entertaining to watch the ups of this lifestyle, aswell as the downs. Secondly, THANK YOU, for taking the time to put in the animations from time to time. I think it is fair to say, that most of your audience has less experience on sea/sailing than you guys have, so animations are a huge help to be able to understand the situation you guys are explaining. Love the long videos aswell :)
