Real sweet. Those two sailing together. As my girl is in Madeira and I’m in Gothenburg I feel such a joy to be entertained by these guys. How they are like two lovebirds in and about. This is what is the meaning with life. So beautiful to see the snorkelling and cuddle close while watching the fishes. This is such a beautiful way of making a program. Millennial Falcon = Positive Thinking. Makes me Happier 🤩 Yours Freximilleniuman ❤️🎸

I enjoy your channel! I've watched alot of cruising channel and appreciate how you all just set off with a worthy but questionable vessel are figuring it out as you go. It reminds me how I set out motorbike racing...my bike was 15 years old with all the things that could fail on a machine of that age. I had fun tho racing against mostly much newer bikes with very limited resources/$$. I quickly became intimate with my machine fixing things as they failed...learning. It made the experience much richer. And after a few short years I took 3rd in the points championship in my region on my now trusty old machine. Thanks. I've started from the start and don't want to miss a thing!

Really enjoyed this episode. We just returned to NZ after sailing from the UK and have gone back to being landlubbers so will need to use you guys to get my turquoise fix from now! Good stuff on gathering and cooking the conch. We didn’t do that but it looks like a great way to feed the crew!

16:57 is probably where the intestinal infection got contracted and the related indigestion, not the ensuing eating of too many cooked ones. Sea food can carry all sorts of pathogens and the cooking should neutralize them.

Just for info, these are not conch, they are sea snails, known in St.Lucia as Bweego. I'm guessing conch would sell for a higher price than Bweego, but still, they are very popular with locals of the Caribbean. Enjoy.

This was an excellent video! I grew up on the water and we vacationed up and down Long Island Sound, exploring many of the ports along the way out to Block Island, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket and further on up. It wasn’t the Caribbean waters, but the whole way of life forms who you are. I started with La Vagabond, then SV Delos & found you guys. Your videos have just gotten better & better. I am not a millennial LOL 😉 and had no idea there were such KZbin channels with this kind of content. I can’t thank you enough for putting out these wonderful adventures. I miss our boat SOOO much and watching you all just takes me back. Very calming during these COVID times. I might have told you all this before..but love you guys!🌸🌺❣️🌞🌞🌞🌞⛵️⛵️⛵️

That's what it's about, a little sailing, cool anchorages, meeting and hanging with a friendly local that teaches you (or me) about something of their culture. I like all your vids, but this is one of the better ones lately. Makes me wanna slip the lines here is San Diego, head south and satellite text my clients and tell them I'll be back in a few years, maybe. Hard to decipher fact from fiction in visas for us folks with a bozo of a prez that's blown the pandemic to far, far freater levels than it had to be. What's the rub on US citizens getting into the Carribean from your perspective? Should I head for Fiji instead? Both are big boy sails for a guy with only 1500 miles of So Cal sailing so far? Kéep inspiring me, please.

We’re so keen to start exploring further than these islands, but while we’re on this side of the world we wanted to head to Europe. Unfortunately the best time to sail there was May-July and during that time all EU countries were on lockdown and not accepting foreigners so we were not allowed there. Nowadays, it’s the middle of hurricane season so very unwise to sail across the Atlantic. There are still only a small amount of EU countries (and non EU countries where we could stopover) that are accepting Australian citizens. So pacific may be on the cards if this situation stays no change.

@SailingMillennialFalcon
@SailingMillennialFalcon 4 жыл бұрын
We think they’re quite tasty! Solid white flesh, not really flaky. We only seem to find smaller lion fish though so it’s a little bit of hassle for not a great amount of fish but they’re so easy to catch and good for the reef so it’s worth it!

Fishing in Grenada appears to be quite unregulated and we have not found any government limitations on the size and amount you can take of these sea snails/whelks. There are limitations on queen conch but after a bit of a google, these aren’t them. And to be honest, we were operating under the guidance of the local we were with.
