EP55 | Steering the boat with a watch? | Westcoast part 8 | Sailing Pluto

Another anchorage to try - Hoedjiesbay is easy and close to town, Hoedjiespunt is smaller and just underneath Port Control. We enjoyed our own private beach, some snorkelling, fresh mussels and many hikes. Although this is a great little bay, you are exposed to swell from marine traffic and it can get a little uncomfortable, but we still love it.
Also, please note that the beach and hikes around are not open for general public. I think we were just lucky having visited during lockdown with so few people around. Rather ask and check before you do the same.
