sadly like 90% of her fanbase comes from "The Worst" , she's come a long way in just a few years but Sailing Souls (her old album) still will hold a special place for me. She was inexperienced i guess, but her really small concerts with mostly true followers were incredible. I just love her as a person, the very very select few artists i can listen to on a daily basis, i have to like them as a person too not just an artist or what music they put out. Jhene feels like my best friend even though I've never met her, her music feels like advice to me. It's so honest and raw, yet it chills me out. I also have crazy respect for how real she is, she seems very genuine all around and I don't see many people in general like that these days.
