As always, great video! Tapping tip: 1/4 to 1/2 turn in, then 1/2 to 3/4 turn out to remove metal burrs and prevent jamming and lastly, ALWAYS use oil. Last thing you want is a broken tap in your hole, it is not fun at all, I've been their unfortunately.

I had a whole pod of those bottle nose follow me from Savanna GA down to West Palm over 4 days! Really cool to watch them teach their pups hunt! Thank you so much for bringing that memory to mind! Stay safe you two! Get some safety harnesses and lines to tie yourself to the boat. That saved my ass more than once! My rum to sailing balance was WAY off!

Thank you so much for showing what it's really like to sail and work on your home! I love seeing dolphins like everyone, but I appreciate that you show us so much of the blood, sweat, and tears that goes into this life! I loved seeing you sail blue waters! (I'm living vicariously for the next few years... lol) There's nothing that makes you smile like sailing!! 😍😍

Hello Guys I just watched all the videos from episode 4 and want to provide some feedback. As you know there are a ton of channels like yours but what I love about what you guys do is that you really can tell an interesting story. The videos are Shot well and edited fantastically... Even the less exciting portions of your journey like the long stay in Alabama are showed well enough that it kept me watching...and that's hard this day and age! I enjoy the fact that you're not only documenting your boat life but instead telling a story. The channels that just document the everyday gets boring quickly. You guys are great storytellers; keep doing what you're doing and hopefully keep bringing us along on this adventure of a lifetime.

Just found your channel today, and binge watched, while driving back from dropping our son off at camp (6 hours home). We own a Catalina 36 and love seeing all the upgrades, challenges, joy and experience you've shared with your videos. It's especially nice to see the things you've figured out yourselves, the costs and the pros and cons you've run into. MAN THAT IS A LOT OF LOCKS! Can't wait to see more! We dream of sailing further than the Chesapeake Bay one day...(lots to explore where we are, and lots of trouble to get into this close to shore too!) A few more years and then maybe we can consider some time living aboard and sailing the Caribbean!

He loves that hat. He bought the original in Australia about 15 years ago. It flew off his head while boating 7-8 years ago and he was super bummed because he thought he’d have to fly back to Australia and get another. Luckily the internet made the world a smaller place and we were able to figure out what it was called and get him a new one online!

When you venture to south Florida, you’ll find many more vendors for the type of tubular arch you desire. A lot of competition in Ft Lauderdale area for quality work so prices should be better as well. Many mobile welders/fabricators. Best of luck.

Sailing Soulianis - I’m guessing you get told lots of stuff you already know and either have decided on another option, or are doing it, or have it on a list to do. The joys of having tens of thousands of eyes watching you. We all watch you because we love what you are doing - a young couple with the guts to follow their hearts and do something different. Fantastic go see how much boat maintenance you are doing yourselves too. I pick up useful stuff up from you guys. Wonderful.
