Oh friends... we are so sorry. As cat owners ourselves we completely sympathize with your situation and tough decision. We had a cat for 13 years and when she died it broke our hearts , Finn was a great entertainer, let’s hope for the best

Still hoping and wishing that Finn returns safe and well to you. He’s already lived a life far beyond what is normal for a street cat born in Montenegro. I remember us discussing options - we agreed the chance of him surviving for long as a sickly kitten in Kotor was very small. He is still very much part of the Sailing Sunday family wherever he is.

Very sorry... we lost one of our three cats not long before Christmas... of course he was the best one. About 10 years old ..... miss him... Mario! ;-) ... Zelda and Roxas ... same litter are still with us. Good luck.

Jeez! That gave me such a sick feeling when the reality of y'all not getting Fin back. It was a nice stroll down memory lane which turned the whole video into a good video. I'm not a real cat person but it's not like I don't like them. They sure are entertaining. We had one named Max. That darn thing would end up waking me up because he was plastered up against my leg or in between them. He went missing and it makes you wonder. Having recently gone through a similar indoor/ outdoor cat gone missing....my heart breaks for you. It's been months and I still expect little Sweet pea to show up at the door...and..my house doesn't move. As much as I love the " independence" of cats..this is the unfortunate part. How far afield have you guys searched? Finn won't be in the marina area now. People who steal/pick up animals get sick of them pretty quick and dump them somewhere too far to walk back. The local animal rescue people will know all the favourite spots, they'll be outside town for sure. Go for a look but DON'T take the dog as Finn will have regained his natural fear dogs by now and would hide from you as you walked past.

We just spent thousands and thousands of dollars caring for a few puppies and kittens these last few months... Baby steps first, then maybe one day.

We’ve been in a full lockdown here for months, in the middle of winter, with no one around except a few locals we see walking around everyday that we get to know.. It’s just the marina cat here. All the other stray cats are about 1km up along the breakwater.

Also trying to force him to stay on the boat was impossible, we tried to keep him locked inside in an attempt to keep him in. And he eventually just started bolting out the door and escaping one way or another. Trying to force a cat to do something it doesn’t want to do is nearly impossible...but we tried our hardest to keep him from wondering 💔

Wow. You must be the most compassionate person! These people save many strays and don't have allot of means but do amazing things for animals. Finn would have been long gone if he was not rescued by these two. I've lost cats in the past and its very hard to control them 100 percent of the time. If you can't have something nice to say than you should have just refrained from speaking. You do know how to kick somebody when they are already down. Praying that Finn comes back home.
