Why no coffee at sea? During my sailing days with a crew of 50, we kept a large pot of hot water going 24/7 so the no coffee types could make hot chocolate or tea. Think some even did Chicken noodle soup with that water.

I find the caffeine brings on my seasickness, so I have learned to go without it and it seems to help!

@@SailingSunday Only got seasick a few times, mine was when hitting fresh air after being in a smoke filled engine room, Black Douglas had been a Sub chaser in WWII, built in 1929, so had a few quirks.

Would love info about how you manage the bureaucracy of taking your animals into new countries. Are things with animals on board a lot different between the Med and Caribbean? Expensive? Constant vet visits? Thanks and keep you the great work!

It's the same thing, just keep his paperwork up to date. So far all has been ok, We did contact Antigua, but didnt stop there as they never replied to us and still no reply, that was 2 months ago! I guess if we just arrived with all our paperwork in order, they would either OK it with a vet attending the boat, or they just sweep it under the rug, like they usually do.... Its pretty easy, just costs a little bit more
