OUR FIRST NIGHT AT ANCHOR. onboard our Red Fox trailer sailor in Stangate creek on the Medway

So after all the hard work we finally get to have some fun on Rowena, our Red Fox trailer sailer yacht.
The wind was pretty strong for the journey down river, and dead on the nose, so as we wanted to make use of the high tide and explore some of the creeks that we never get to visit we had the outboard on for the entire journey.
Once there however the wind eased off and we had a wonderful night at anchore in our own little puddle of water, right at the end of the creek.
Then for the following morning we had light southerly winds and a very pleasant, easy going, sail back home... although as we needed to be back by lunch time the dreaded outboard had to be fired up again for some bits of the journey just to make sure we weren't late.
