great video , nice fish, patch liked it , take it easy , be safe , captain- when you went up the mast to fix the light you didnt have a safety line on , that was an un necessary risk to take

Thanks. Yes risks are a daily companion.. some people actually think sailing across an ocean is an unnecessary risk. I go up the mast all the time. I jump down from the spreaders and other things which may be risky. That's life for me. I'm not a over security guy. Living free is more important than living long. But.. mast isn't mast. We have mast steps and going up is very easy and I don't see any big risk in it while climbing up. Working up there and using my hands to work instead of holding on is a different story. That's why I pick in up there and then have both hands free to perform the work. When finished I release the safety and climb down. Easy. It might change when I'm older, weaker or the conditions are rough for sure.. But thanks for your concerns about my safety.. aloha🤙

I was concerned in the beginning as well. That's why we build a mock up out of cheap wood first, modified it unt we liked it and the had it on for over a month to see if we really like it. Then we build the proper on. And we still love the it. It's amazing how life changed to the better on zero with it. Thanks for your ho eat feedback and I think you're a site ly right. The videos are getting much better everytime we make one.. Thanks for recognizing it. Aloha🤙
