Absolutely. The boat is almost silently moving, constantly changing but almost unnoticeable.. And then there are the stormy days!!😂 It is still a very rare experience compared to how many of us are actually doing it.

Somebody went to bed at night without reefing the main sail ?

Reefs are put in when needed. If not needed we don't reef. This particular incident happened because the main was sheeted Midship and the billo mastsliders broke and ripped the head of the sail.. a reef would not have prevented it.
