I'm glad the anime portraits her ascendance into a Sailor Soldier more clearly. In manga, she just talks so I think it's just "meh". But in the movie, it's depicted that she's literally from a hellhole place and becoming "magical girl" isn't as sweet and peaceful as Usagi's.

Sailor Galaxia's Backstory in Cosmos is interesting her purpose and motivation of her goal and genocide and her tragic is so well done, her backstory in Cosmos it like compare her to like Thanos in Avengers Infinity War and Endgame were both Characters seek same purpose and motivation goal of genocide being tragic, This is why I love Sailor Moon Cosmos is the best just as the Avengers Infinity War and Endgame.

The motivation of Thanos in the movie was not clear and not much detail was revealed as to why he did what he did but if you read the comics it was his unrequited love for mistress death that motivated him to snap half of the universe’s population into non-existence!

@@grace19005 From what I have gathered, the previous main villains are all spawn of Chaos. They may have had their own personalities, abilities and goals, but ultimately they were created solely to further Chaos' goals. Though there are still questions. Did they all knowingly serve Chaos or simply were left to their own devices, but said devices were orchestrated by Chaos? Were they aware of each other or would they inevitably start fighting amongst themselves once the Sailor Guardians were no more?

@@lisboah You know what, now that I'm remembering some key moments from the manga, I think they knew they were serving Chaos. In the dream arc during the Silver Millenium flashback, Nehelenia says "where there is light there is also darkness, always both, they need each other", which leads into the stars arc where Chaos reveals to Sailor Moon that the reason all his spawns were coming after her was because they were attracted to her light and wanted to become one with it. Nehelenia seemed very knowledgeable about the universe and knew how it worked, and she's one of Chaos' spawns so. It's either they were aware they were serving Chaos and that's how they knew what to look for or it was just Chaos speaking through them and they didn't have total consciousness.

@@grace19005 That leads to another question. Imagine if Queen Metalia, Wiseman, Pharaoh 90 or Nehelenia had managed to get the artifacts they sought. Would they offer it to Chaos or would they attempt to overthrow Chaos? The problem with creatures made of pure evil is that they lack any loyalty towards others and only care about themselves.

@@lisboah I don't think they would've tried to overthrow Chaos. I think they would've gotten what they wanted and then they would've extended their reign of evil. And soon, the whole universe would be covered in darkness and Chaos would be everywhere. Chaos is the reason why they're alive. If they destroyed it, then I think..they would get destroyed as well? Cause wasn't Chaos basically defeated at the end of the stars arc which meant no more evil stars would be born unless Chaos was reincarnated? So I have a feeling they're dependant on their mother Chaos and wouldn't be able to destroy it.

O Mamoru deve ter sido desintegrado pra facilitar o roubo do Cristal dele e deixar a Usagi irritada já que a Mistress 9 tinha roubado o Cristal de Prata da Chibiusa e isso não aconteceu e só agora na Saga final quando explicaram os Sailor Crystals e as Star Seeds(comentam no início do filme a fala da Queen Serenity dizendo que todos tem uma estrela dentro de si e mostrando as nossas Sailors e seus Crystals provavelmente a fala original era uma referência às almas ou às Star Seeds) faz sentido a alma delas ter ido junto na Saga 3 Mamoru must have been disintegrated to facilitate the theft of his Crystal and make Usagi angry since Mistress 9 had stolen Chibiusa's Silver Crystal and that didn't happen and only now in the Final Saga when they explained the Sailor Crystals and the Star Seeds (they comment at the beginning of the movie on Queen Serenity's speech saying that everyone has a star inside oneself and showing our Sailors and their Crystals probably the original speech was a reference to the souls or the Star Seeds) it makes sense that their souls went together (with their Crystals) in Saga 3

Maybe there will still be toys, but nothing else There is That scene in which Usagi says that Chibiusa will never get married after Chibiusa had exaggerated about her life being lonely and sad later in order to convince her father. I believe that Galaxia still has a good heart and she's only being corrupted/controlled by Chaos that's why she had done evil things after sending her own star seed to a distant place far away from the galaxy.

That's the 90s Anime StoryLine Dude. She was a Good Sailor Guardian/Soldier/Scout in that version but got corrupted by Chaos after sealing it away in her Body. The Manga/Cosmos Version of Galaxia was Bad because she born on a Planet of only Men and they treated her like trash, always beating her up and trying to kill her multiple times with Swords but she would never die. It's even applied in the ORIGINAL Japanese Version of the Manga that the Men of her Planet would "R WORD" Her and toss her aside like trash when they were done with her Until then one day when her Powers awoke as a Sailor Guardian/Soldier/Scout and she destroyed her Birth Planet and from then on she felt like Power was the only thing important and started looking for a new planet to call home.

I'm not sure if these are subtitles done by you or if they're from the DVD or Blu-ray set but I thank you for uploading a clip with subtitles finally! So far a lot of people on KZbin have been uploading the raw version of the movie or only the available subtitles that were made because the movie itself was only available in certain countries besides Japan sadly compared to the last Sailor Moon movie The Eternal two-part this was not for some reason unknown available internationally for all which is probably why I don't see it yet available on free streaming sites yet. I hope soon somebody or some sites will eventually upload the movie in both English and English subtitles so I can read the full translation. Even if a lot of us fans have read the Manga panel of the manga it's good to always compare since the Sailor Moon Crystal series including the movies are supposed to be at least 95.5% based on the manga but you can clearly see some distinctions and changes that were made and some of the arcs of each season that were done but not to the extent that it flies way off from the manga plot. I do hope you'll upload more Clips like this I would like to see more subtitle clips of flashbacks from Sailor Galaxy's past before she became a soldier. So far this clip is mirroring the page panel in the Manga comic book of stars. It's pretty good I must say.

God, I hate this woman no matter how much her back story is given for her. I could still abhor such a being. Trash stays trash until it dies yet she's the one willingly surrounding herself with trash. I have seen much better written villains

Same. I still don’t get why sailor moon still tried to save her when chaos backstabbed galaxia. Like she killed all of sailor moon’s friends and yet she still tried to save galaxia. I get that sailor moon is pure and full of compassion and love, but come on… not every villain deserves to be saved.

​@@firemiracle She saved her because, as she explains it herself, she had nothing left to fight for. All her friends were dead, all star seeds in the galaxy were being destroyed and she was about to be left alone for eternity. She saw how Galaxia was manipulated by Chaos and saw how lonely she was, she basically saw herself in her. And she wanted to at least have someone else be with her rather than spent the rest of her life alone in a universe where Chaos is taking over everything. It was a moment where Sailor Moon realized all the villains had come after her because they represented darkness and she represented light, two elements that want to come together as one. Galaxia was a lonely star just like Usagi and Usagi saw that in her. It's actually quite brilliantly written and Galaxia is a well rounded villain, I'm sad some think she's written badly cause Naoko did an amazing job when writing her.
