I love how someone who never watched the show, figured how Usagi and Minako are so alike they got to be sisters. They are not sisters really, but they are total soulmates. The opening with the floating round clocks was actually the second part of season 2, so it is not supposed to be penultimate.

I just come across the channel... the success of Sailor Moon is a strange one but if you analyze it (or watch other videos), it becomes clear why the show was a milestone. It had the best artist team attached to it during it's later half run Several comedic parts are one of the best to this date when it comes to execution and timing The show build on it's clunky setting and improved it with each following season, with S3-5 being the best what the genre has to offer The music was a massive contributor, having a 70s disco theme going on for the transformations And the transformations... still iconic to this day. No one remembers random Magical Girl show A or B but everyone knows Sailor Moon. They are this impactful. Yeah, you should watch it if you have the time for it.

I'm a big sailor moon fan from the 90s but as an adult, when I go back and watch the show or even read the manga, there are some things that are definitely a little creepy for a teen girl show. Also the girls start the show at like 14/15 years old. You don't realize it at first but the characters actually die like 3 or 4 times during the series. What I think is the funniest thing, is that in 30 years sailor moon had over 10 cds of music and yet the original anime is mostly the same song. Not all but most. May I recommend the sailor moon song miracle romance.

You watched these out of order. Second and Third should be swapped. Third is actually second opening for season 1. Second is the opening for season 2, also known as Sailor Moon R At 7:53, that's the second opening song for season 2...

That man in the black top hat is the FUTURE husband of the main character AND the father of that pink haired girl. Sadly that other blond haired girl isn't the sister of that main character, but her double and body guard.
