Sailor Moon Henshin Transformation Cosplay - Moon Prism Power!

One day I decided to make a funny cosplay to round out my wardrobe. It's pink, sparkly, ribbony and downright silly. I wore it to Fanime 2012 and Anime Expo 2012 and it got an enthusiastic reception. I have been a fan of Sailor Moon since I was a kid and wanted to do something a little different so I used my imagination.
Thanks to my hubby for capturing all the wonderful footage. There are some sideways clips in there that I left sideways because it just adds to the wonderful ridiculousness of it all.
I have a few work in progress videos of this costume where I show how I plan to add lights for that extra glow during anime raves!

I am so glad you enjoyed it, I had so much fun making it! That convention is Anime Expo, pretty much the biggest anime con in the USA! It is in LA around the July 4th weekend. You just barely missed this year's, but you should go next year. It's a blast!
