Glad you popped into my recommendations! I do somewhat want these, but to put in an Ita Bag display instead of wearing as jewelry. My skin eats HotTopic and any "unknown metal" jewelry, so I have taken to displaying these types of charms in Ita Bags or on a Pin Display tapestry on my wall.

It was impossible not to destroy the box. I hope they do a better box, and maybe earrings, a bracelet and a higher price would be fine next year! They could also do hair accessories, etc. I'd rather get more and pay more.

I was really excited when I saw the advent calendar, but now I'm a bit hesitant on buying it. The planet symbol charms were also used for earrings which I bought, and very quickly they had fallen apart or the gold fell off in flakes. Most just had the jewels pop out. I'm still very upset with how quickly they fell apart, so I'm worried about these charms, but I hope they're made more sturdy now!!

Advent calendar: I would rather go on Esty and pay more for beautiful designs. It's a shame how far behind the fans corporation designers are when it comes to Sailor Moon (at least in the US). Definitely a pass for me... I highly appreciate the full review, I might have been tempted to buy it, if not for this.

I got mine today! Opened all of the as well cuz I couldn't wait lol. Mine was shipped in a cardboard box so no damage on my end. All in all I think it's a fun set of charms. The packaging gave me a lot of trouble aswell.

Hey, if you want a better way of opening the Box without destroying it. You could open the bottom of the Box slowly (help with scissors), pull the plastic out with all the suprises and you can glue it later together again. You wont get a suprise though. Hope it helped?

I might consider cutting the bottom open with exacto knife as well if you plan to display the box 😉 a friend of mine taught me the trick with dvd/bluray boxes to just carefully remove the film to access the discs, it leaves a layer of plastic protection for the rest of the box! For ones with cardboard sleeves I started doing this as well, I cut the top to slide the disc holder in and out, but protect the sleeve a little 😆

Advent calendars in my experience used to be a simple countdown to Christmas so 24 days and maybe a Bible verse. Now there's one with chocolates and prizes. Trader Joe's has ones for cats and dogs now!

Thank you for this video because of it I picked this up. I am in the process of opening it and sadly have discovered that one of the charms is missing!! My day 6 was empty but behind the Venus door was the compact charm. I can see the Artemis charm is correct so it looks like im missing the Venus symbol charm. I hope they will replace it when I email them about it.

I have been waiting for years and finally a Sailor Moon advent calendar!!! I was shocked it was jewelry, normally cartoon advent calendars are chocolate or small toys. Mine came today in a box but there was something else in the box. Don't feel bad about the box damaged watch any advent calendar videos most 97% of boxes get very damaged when opening up. Am a little upset Tuxedo Mask didn't get a charm.

Always had advent calendars every year, when I was younger the chocolate advent calendars in the UK used to go up to Christmas day or New Years Eve, but I guess companies are stingy now and only go up to the 24th.

You can actually get Sonic advent calendars, there is one by Numbskull where you get a piece of a figure each day and you build it, the last two years they did Sonic, this year they are doing Tails, it's themed to classic Sonic though, not modern Sonic. There was also another classic Sonic calendar from another company, with lots of mini figures inside. But, America is so lucky they have so many companies that make anime merch, in the UK we have none of this Sailor Moon Christmas merch.

I was very skeptical of this. It is cuter than I thought, but the symbols and the cats I expected. I almost feared that they would just put different colored heart pendants 😂. The kid me would have loved this. The adult me thinks the price and quality match, but I would absolutely love to have more sailor moon advent calendars and holiday products. Aside: I bought Funko Dragon Ball Z advent calendar and was so stoked to open it. That died so fast 😂. They didn’t even have any of my favorite characters and both are staples in the series, so I’m not sure what was going on. I think they just went with the first and possibly second season, so that would explain one of them not being in there, but to leave Bulma out is like a crime or something! 😂. Now I’m so much more picky with all advent calendars. That was a $50 blow I’m still recovering from. Funko! Do a Sailor Moon one! Even if you reuse the same figures and make them glittery or metallic, most fans would be fine with that! Or just color them like they are mid transformation! (Though school uniforms and senshi forms would be fantastic honestly)

Thanks for opening the advent calendar ❤ I usually wait for others to do it first, before I buy one 😂 You never really know what to expect. Although some advent calendars have the inside already printed on the back side, you still don’t know how the “surprises” turn out in reality 😅 All in all, it’s a nice advent calendar for someone, who might not have any of the jewelry. Although sad, that they did only 12 instead of 24 doors, which are much more common here btw (Germany). They could have filled all of the 24 easily, if they included the outers too and did some variations like the font one or the moon shaped one. A price of 10-15 $ seems more reasonable in my opinion (for 12 doors). If I would buy the charms separately, I think I would be up to pay a dollar each. For the prints, the group picture on the inside is a no go 😅 that would have been so disappointing for me too, especially all of the other pictures are so no nice. But ngl, I would have loved it more, if they would have used some new ones on the doors. They are so overused by now and there are so many others they could have printed on there. Regarding the doors 😢 Just simply horrible. It looks like they were precut on the left and right side and there seems to be no chance to open it in a clean way with your fingers only 😢 After seeing you open it and seeing how they work, I would suggest to use a box cutter and very slowly and carefully cut on the part below only. So it flaps open upwards and as the upper part is still intact, the doors should stay connected at least on one side and it would still look nice later. And lastly not advent calendar related 😂 I loved the snow globe with the 3D Sailor Moon 😍 It looks beautiful and I definitely would have grabbed one for myself if I had seen one in stores here. Sad to hear they pulled it again.

I feel the same about Christmas coming earlier and earlier ; because it is! Halloween gets so rushed over & Thanksgiving is forgotten 😆 Stuff comes out so early & then sell out fast ( in general) I agree ! Sailor moon could come out with so much more stuff , especially during the holidays but they don’t . I love the winter review of SM merch! I seen cool fanmade SM ornaments but it’s a shame they don’t have official. They do for many other anime like you said ! I got mine today and luckily I got a bunch of items for Christmas gifts because there was no protection for anything ; so it was in a big box. I feel like HT & boxlunch specifically comes in damaged all the time( I can attest to tht) I was so excited abt the item I didn’t even notice the bad pixels on the image! 😅Nice video as always! Some fun Sailor Moon facts!! I was born in 1986 and when I was in fourth grade living out in the middle of nowhere, basic cable, my channels typically went up to 32 with a ton missing in between that there was a specific channel that played Sailor Moon right as soon as I got home from school off the bus so I had to have been like 330 4 o’clock And I watched every single episode(This had to have been 93 or 94) and if you’ve watched every single episode from beginning to end, I love how they loop it in the last season in the last episode after the big fight in the Crystal city all the scouts get bubbled back to earth to start the whole process over again and that’s where season one episode one starts!! Very very cool. It wasn’t until Hot Topic became a common store you would see at the mall, so that probably wasn’t until 2001? That’s where I got my very first notebook with the Sailor Moon Scouts on it and I still have it!! With some blank pages and everything!! They also had a anime/hello Kitty store that would have a lot of Sailor Moon things, but it was really overpriced or in Japanese or Chinese.(that’s terrible. I should totally know this.) but I never was willing to spend that much money on anything my whole life I’ve been frugal. I don’t remember where I found this. It might have been Spencer‘s?? But around 2000 I got myself a plastic light up Sailor Moon wand that made a little magic noise when you hit the gym. So mad that I lost that I love Sailor Moon just as much now as I did 20 something years ago and I love how there’s so many fan made pictures on Google images. It’s inspired me to draw and paint Sailor Moon themed creations many times!! That stocking you have of the moon crescent wand with the imperium silver crystal, I want to paint that bad boy so bad!! I am a professional artist so if you decide to take me up on that, I would be honored to paint that stocking anyway you would like me to. i’ve always wanted a Sailor Moon locket that has the moon going around playing Serena and Darien song but the closest I’ve ever found to anything not to plastic and tacky cost a few hundred dollars on eBay and they don’t even know if it still works. But I’ve got some pretty cool Sailor Moon swag in my day so I just subscribed to your channel because I love everything Sailor Moon!! I don’t even like anime not at all!! But Sailor Moon is so nostalgic for the few happy memories I had in my childhood and if it wasn’t for me, trying to learn how to draw the sailor Scouts I wouldn’t be the artist that I am today.

As a collector the advent calendar doesnt seem worth it to me as someone with nickle sensitivities inexpensive costume jewelry while pretty to look at is usually unwearable so as a display piece ( which is what id want this for) id be so dissapointed in the box came crushed

I watch a youtuber by the name Cherry Wallis and she uses her thumb to start with and then a nail file to open the priferated sections so they dont get ruined. But gosh that packaging is so bad. I recieved a book i ordered from barn and noble to today and the packaging was shapped around the book. I couldnt get it open except without sissors and almost cut into the actual book! shame..

For the Advent Calendar, it's clear the "doors" are completely perforated to be removed to reveal the charm, based on the way they opened, because Advent Calendar boxes aren't meant to survive being opened.
