This is surprisingly good quality for today's Barbie. They often use cheap fabric and only print on the details, especially with those surprise unboxing dolls. Glad to see they're improving and a definitely a throwback to the beloved 80s and 90s Barbies of my childhood!

I was not a Barbie lover as a child. I liked baby dolls much better. However, a much younger cousin was a massive Barbie fan. One year, my mother, sisters and I made a whole wardrobe for her numerous Barbies. My mother even made her a beautiful wedding gown. There were skirts, shirts, jackets, and every other kind of clothing you could imagine, including scarves, hats, jewelry, and underclothes as well. We also made cloth bags etc. We bought all kinds of shoes from thrift stores etc. My mom even made her some cloth shoes if I recall. So even though I personally wasn't a fan, I had so much fun that year making all the accessories. This was a cute advent calendar, good for the price, and as always worth it for your reactions Cherry!

In 1998 I did get a Aerobics Barbie and she wore a neon coloured outfit. Pink leggings with a multi coloured gymnastics body (a bathingsuit with sleeves basicly). With bright pink legwarmers, white sneakers and I believe her headband and her wristbands were bright yellow 😄 Also she had dumbbells, a towel and I believe a ghettoblaster (or that was from another set). Fun times!

This was so cute and definitely a steal for the price, but I'm a little disappointed there's no Christmas or even winter outfit. I think that cheetah top could have been replaced with a red/green sweater or red velvet/santa dress and a couple of purses could have been swapped for a lil Christmas tree or gift and a santa hat or something. There were a few green things that don't even match the outfits you got. But it would be nice if kids (or adults) could make a Christmas outift to play with for the holidays.

I had a couple of Barbies, a Ken too, and a baby as well and also the camper van. I didn’t really enjoy changing outfits and bags, shoes, bags, jewelry-too fussy for me! I think I mostly just caused catastrophic accidents for them in the camper van- into the pool ( Eg. lake or ocean,) or into the forest or off a cliff, or the individual dolls drowning. I just realized I was a pretty morbid kid. I was good with my baby dolls and my other toys, I guess it was my subconscious coming through with the Barbies- I knew even as a little kid that I was never going to look like a Barbie or have a life like hers.
