The shifting images are called “lenticular” images and as a 90s kid I appreciated that you played with the weird bumpy texture because I used to do that all the time and annoyed my mom 😂😂

Me too! If anything I would have loved to see some shadows with the names of the other Scouts. Or, honestly, the entire pallet to be comprised of the signature colors of all of the inner and outer Scouts

oookaypal I think collab would’ve been perfect if they made a whole other palette and a couple of highlighter trios. I feel like they were more focused on the 90s aspect of this collab more than than the actual characters! It’s like they knew the basics of Sailor moon...she’s the main character and has a cat. Like I wish the colors were more focused on the colors of the characters....blues, reds, black, yellow...stuff like that. I think this palette more represented Chibiusa more than Sailor moon. I think they could’ve done so much with this collab..that they missed!

I really, really hope they do a collection for each senshi so we get a variety of shades. This palette is very Usagi now that I think about it though I would've hope for more depth and variety in the colour story. Maybe they'll do Artemis with Sailor Venus' collection. Inspiring eye look! I’m so underwhelmed by the eyeshadow palette!! I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks so. It’s just so light. And would it even show up on deeper skin tones? I just expected a little more umph. It looks GORGEOUS on you, but I don’t know if it would have the same effect on my skin tone (I’m a lot darker than you). I hope they expand the collection as the lip products are the only thing I want!

Absolutely, my first thoughts were that it's definitely really pastel and not dark-skin friendly. What disappoints me too is that it's been hard to find reviews on this from non-light-skinned people so it's hard to see what it looks like on darker skin.

You could just pick out the glitters with a toothpick and place them on the nail to avoid most of the gel!

I really don’t know about colourpop’s deal with the owner of Sailor Moon’s copyright but mostly these character owner companies tend to sale their characters separately, as well as characters’ gadgets. That’s why we don’t see anything related to other scouts or their gadgets, only Usagi and those two cats.

The packaging is amazing. (That effect is called lenticular 🙂) Honestly, I kind of wanted it just for that. But I wouldn’t have got much use out of the actual products since they’re mainly pastels or very pink-toned, which doesn’t suit me unfortunately.😕So the collection itself was a little disappointing to me, personally. I kinda was hoping they’d include the other Scouts. Love the glitters, though!

I put glitteraly obsessed on my cheekbones as highlighter and sometimes do that thing where some color is blown out from the outer corner of the eye but with glitter. It's far enough from the eyes here it you're not rubbing them. Pressed glitters work for those things too, they are just a little less sticky and can end up all over. And in the summer it's 90s glitter gel all over the collarbones and shoulders time! They were in the summer festival collection first, literally created for this kinda thing so stay put well even when sweating.

I smear the glitter all over my chest or sometimes my neck/shoulders if I'm going out!! But be warned, I did that about 4 days in a row for pride week last year and it took a few days for it to completely wash off in the shower!! 😂

I have colourpop glitter like that and I love it. I tap it on where I would normally put highlighter on my upper cheeks and put some on the outside (outer corner) of my eyes. Hard to explain without being able to insert a picture. It is just so extra and beautiful I feel like a fairy or pixie

Favorite way to wear glitterally obsessed: on the eyes. It works fine. I have super sensitive eyes and have had no issues! They just need to disclose they aren’t “safe” for the eyes for safety reasons but as long as you are cautious while taking them off you should have no trouble 💖 but understand if you just aren’t comfortable doing so!

Not to crush your dreams but a huge part of why people were so upset about how the launch was handled by colourpop is the fact that they are not shipping this collection internationally and didn’t disclose that info; there’s only a few countries in Europe that they’re shipping to but other than that, half the world couldn’t order it. 🥴

You can use the glitter on your nails. Seal with a topcoat for a night out. Doesn’t last long but it’s fun.

If done in small amounts I'd do the gliter gel on the eyes, lips, or as a highlight personally. A dab would do and just work it in. It can be really beautiful
