I love this pen, I have the same colour in the PGS... Love all things wintery and this is just perfect! The colours are so subtle. I have been loving J.Herbin Vert de Gris and Diamine Chopin and Vivaldi in mine. Thank you for showcasing this beauty, it looks even better bigger!!!

@@StationeryDumpling Chopin, Vivaldi, Wagner... in fact most of the Diamine Music inks are among my most used and faves for years but the onoy place I believe you can buy them individually is Cult Pens.

Lovely pen. I love Sailors, I prefer PG to PG slim - it's slightly bigger and more comfortable in hand

You know what’s funny? Today I realized I like the 1911L more than the 1911s cos it’s bigger and fits better in my hand. But somehow the PGS feels better in my hand than the PG. I think because of the cap band and where it falls in my hand when posted lol. 😅

I have this, but in the PGS size - mostly because I have a bunch of ProGears and wanted to get something different. haah. it's beautiful!

Section size can make a big difference. I probably have larger hands than you I find custom 742 and Pro Gears a little on the smaller size. Usable but not as comfortable as larger sections. Being able to try out pens in person is probably the ideal way to check out a pens size. But not everyone can though. 😢 Btw your pen is very nice looking great choice!

I couldn’t agree more! Especially for Pelikans. That size surprised me in person versus looking at photos and videos.

So if the Realo is like a great size for my hand it’s very comfortable which other Sailor pens do you think would be a great fit .. or even pilot pens if you have any recommendations

The realo is the same as any 1911L from sailor, so any of those should fit well too. I think the Pro Gear is supposed to be the same as 1911L, except with flat top and bottom, but I find it actually to be a bit uncomfortable in my hand. Just slightly wider in diameter on the barrel. I like the Pilot Custom 742 to be pretty similar in size 😁 I also like the Pilot Vanishing Point if you don’t mind the clip
