It’s been 30 years since I bought my Waterman Expert. It is still a great pen and only had one issue in 30 years. I saw this Verdigris Pilot on Amazon when I was ink shopping, because my area Staples stopped with bottled ink, but it wasn’t available in the nib I wanted and I went hunting. Two weeks ago my Verdigris Pilot Custom 743 (ef) and my Pilot VP dark red and gold (f) arrived. I’m waiting on my order from Fountain Pen Revolution, a Brown ebonite 14K (EF) ultra flex. Thanks for your review. It was one I watched before I bought my pen.

I was concerned about colour getting onto my canvas wallet, so I put it around an insert in the middle so it’s nowhere near the leather cover now 😀

The R.O. Sidewalk Gum ink looks pretty. I might have about 15 pens that are filled with ink, currently. 😂 Be careful, don't let those bugs get into your ink. TFS!

never use sharpie it is alcohol based and will bleed ; sharpies are designed for writing maybe on cardboard or boxes they are $%^%%^ pens

If you like the weeks cover and the weeks size you could try a Kinbor Weekly. The Bachuan paper is very nice and fountain pen friendly. There is also Sterling Ink that sells planners and notebooks in the weeks size (I think she calls the size N2).

This was a little rambling and disjointed. I think more information delivered concisely would be helpful. What size font is used for the letters? I suspect some may be gifting to the elderly.

It’s a shame that you didn’t give the M200 a chance. That’s a great pen. Don’t fall for the snobbery of nib materials, that has little to do with how it writes… Enjoy your M800 anyway, that’s also a great pen 👍

Oh no, the May 2024 in my swatch book is much more turquoise than the blue you got in your swatch. I must have diluted it when I made mine. As then say never trust a swatch you didn’t make. 😂

We do have the same taste! I got a passport for myself for Xmas and also got the monthly book and sticker release booklet and other stuff. I am going to wrap it for Xmas. I think it will be more of a Journal but I like having a months especially when I am traveling. I have those mildliner ones too that I got free from a planner conference. Love your haul! ❤️
