Very interesting. One good thing to come from all this global internet connection is that you guys get to keep in touch with your families. It must have been hard in the past. Holy cow dude took 2500 Bar pressure to the leg. Math off the top of my head is like what 40,000 PSI. That is crazy, I don't work on a ship but Hydraulic line breaks are some of the worst injuries. Glad he is okay.

I feel like contractual salary is way better as you get to choose how long of a vacation you want ... And fyi my company pays me around 10.5 k on chemical tanker with rgb 350...as a 2e...in chemical tanker it hovers around 8.8-11 for co and 2e
