As always Mr KSN your vlogs are so informative and educational for seafarers and non seafarers like myself. I was blown away with how much equipment there is with the ship and how they all play their parts with monitoring etc. I am assuming you do have a toilet up there in case you can’t leave 😉😂. Thanks again for all your hard work with delivering the vlogs and for maintaining our world supplies. Mr KSN you are a hard act to follow. ☺️

Thank you for the visit. One doubt, in which swich/lever the main horn is operated? It's always good to keep a sextant nearby. One never knows: gps system can be encoded again for military reasons, a solar storm can put electronic communications out. That is why we have too keep some old school redundancy.

Hey Karen, your videos are extremely informative which is highly appreciated. My son too is a deck cadet and feel very comforting watching your videos. I want my son to be like you. Being from the army background you have a great bearing with gentleman officer like qualities which stands out 👍. We too like your parents are from the army. Wish you goodluck and great innings ahead 👍👍. I wish as a mother could speak to you.

One other important factor is your attitude towards all your work colleagues, obviously, you are away for long periods so it is important that you are all able to have a friendly environment. Thank you very much for giving me such enjoyment.

Excellent video! I am a Spanish deck cadet, and on February 27th I will take my first practice on board and this video is very productive to learn more about bridge equipments, I have a question, do you not use paper charts on the ship?
@trevorblack88393 жыл бұрын
Another brilliant video, I used to buy shipping magazines and there were some new bulk carriers that didn't have bridge wings, it looked strange, as far as navigation I had a friend that was a seafarer, he was on a cargo ship between Australia and New Zealand and the navigation equipment went off, they passed another ship and had to ask if they could tell them where they were

Another most interesting video. Thanks so much, you hard work is enjoyed and appreciated. You English is excellent. One hint for you: the plural of "equipment" is the same word, "equipment". So you would say "Here's one piece of equipment and over there are three other important pieces of equipment". Or, "the navigation bridge is full of many different types of important equipment".
