Episode 354 : Season 11 : The South Island of New Zealand - Aotearoa
Hello Friends,
On this episode we enjoy a short sail to Long Bay and explore the coves and beaches of Kenepuru Bay. Rhonda made some fresh tea, loaded up the thermos and we headed out for a dinghy date and drifted in silence as the sun set.

In my experience, I have found that the sounds have a mud/shell bottom, so extremely good holding in Most conditions. Some of those mud inlets are good pipi beds. Old cruising areas you've taken us over too. Thank you mate for the memories.

We met and hung out with Roni and Rob Neeley and their two kids for a couple of days and they said they had met you. Small world! Depends on how good of a sailor the captain is. The Pardeys did some serious ocean miles in a 24ft boat. It more comes down to how much discomfort is someone willing to deal with.
