Anyone else noticed at 4:47 he flicks the car to the left before turning right? Seems like he intentionally spun out....

he did, also he locked up rears.

Anyone else notice in the cornering test at 50km/h the driver of the car with all-season tires locked the back wheels using the parking brake before even entering the turn? Kind of a ridiculous thing to do in traffic :)

Wow, an intentional Scandinavian Flick!! @4:37. We all know snow tires are great, don't need to lay it thick.

Great tests in this video, having two very similar vehicles, one with all season tires and one with winter. Side by side, you can see the difference in traction, vehicle control and overall safety.

Did anybody notice the locking of the rear wheels on the all season tire car during the cornering? Test was fixed...

Also notice at 1:58 the all season car moves the front tire in order to cause the car to break loose. This is a completely unfair and biased comparison.

In the market for some winter tires, I must say these Sailun tires are a great bargain. I'm skeptical from buying a tire from a Chinese manufacturer. For $90/tire for my van, it's very economical.

Notice at 4.37 the all season tire car actually flicks the car to cause the skid.

Why are they showing Audi gauges?

I do agree that winter tires are necessary . I just love how yet another tire maker imitates the tread design of my Hakkapeliita RSi's. Well the design does work as do most winter tires. Don't underestimate winter tires . They do work.

why did the guy flick the wheel?

I actually bought these tires. These tests that they are doing, they look fake and the all season guy can't be a professional driver. If he was, on the cornering test he would have turned into the skid instead of away from it. That said, we just got a decent snow squall today. I just came back in from testing them. For the price, I must admit these tires are quite decent. They aren't trying to prove they are the best tire out there, but that they are as good as top brands, without the top brand price. Would recommend.

Just curious to compare with the real thing. Nokian Hakkapeliita R2 Or even better The new Hakkapeliita 8. Nokian FTW.

The OEM Michelin Tires are garbage. A good set of all-seasons would put those to shame, but yes, still not as good as the winters.

Ya this is ridiculous. You should never have "all season" tires on your car in the winter time. In some places you can actually get fined in winter for having them on your car. Saying that I have no clue why the did this test. You should have either "all weather" or winter tires and Nokian is the way to go.
@sarkis78612 жыл бұрын
this is so funny. theyre comparing all seasons to winters. you can compare any shitty winter tires with the best known to man kind brand of all seasons and all seasons would prob still have difficulty.asides that they just really try hard to make all season look bad. cornering car with winters turns early around the corner while the one with all season turn wide resulting to spin out.not to mention you could see all season a bit faster. still good tires just why go that far of over exaggerating
@brox6811 жыл бұрын
Never had winter tyres in 26 years of driving and tbh i never never had a problem.......but if i was buying it would not be shitty quality budget tyres.Who the hell drives at 60kph in conditions like that anyway.

a newer Ford Fusion like that should not "fishtale" when braking like that one did, it has ABS and the snow wasn't deep or slushy, the whole video looked lame and VERY biased towards the winter tires....just wasted almost 6 minutes of my life I'll never get back.

Sailun owner, don't try to make test,your tires are the worst ever,all drivers know wich tires they need and for sure not yours,even if i wont have enough money I will bether buy used Conti,GY,Michelin or any other good brand then your new junk
@bizkillall11 жыл бұрын
When a company sabotages their competitors in a test, I lose all faith in that company. The sad part is, Sailun did not even need to Saratoga the all season tires as even the best all season won't beat the crappiest of winter tires.
