Filmmaker Saim Sadiq's feature debut Joyland premiered at Cannes’ Un Certain Regard making it the first Pakistani film to be selected in Cannes. Sadiq spoke to Anupama Chopra about the film being 'a call for empathy', when it will reach a wider audience and what his plans are next.
