We are a family of three and this is our grocery haul from Sainsbury’s. This food shop cost £108.73 and we saved £14.70 with Nectar prices.

Pasta Bolognaise
Gammon Steaks, Cauliflower Cheese & Chips
Fish & Chips
as well as a few other meals yet to be decided.

Thank you ☺️. I went to Tesco and got a cauliflower that was twice the size and the same price as the one I got from Sainsburys. Now I probably have too much cauliflower to make cauliflower cheese 😬 xx

love beans. i dont buy the Heinz stuff cause it's more expensive but to me, all beans taste the same haha

I only buy it when it’s on offer as they are more expensive than what they used to be. I can definitely taste the difference between them and other brands, it’s the tomato sauce that they are in that tastes different to me 🤣

I so agree with you about the beans,it has to be Heinz. Even Sainsbury's own is a poor relation. I would ring them up about sending you those burgers which don't look very nice to me. Do you know thst the whole of the online system, including customer service,is based in South Africa now?Truly it is. Sounds like you have an awful lot of food preparation to do before the school holidays!

I will just keep them, I think I may have bought them before but I’m sure they didn’t have a 🌶️🌶️🌶️ rating. I never knew that about their Customer Service, I guess a lot of companies outsource their Customer Service to wherever is cheaper. I’m just buying a few things to spread out the cost as after 6 weeks at home my cupboards will likely be bare 😆 xx

Oh no 😆. Must be an error on their website. I got the Whitby GF Cod Goujons from Tesco instead. The Leon waffles were really nice, I had them with the Nando’s Perinaise. Would buy them again, I just cooked them in the air fryer. Also I bought a packet of Viennese Biscuits in Asda. Not had them in years. They were also very good 😋. Have you found anything new to recommend? xx

@@thelifeofdee75 not tried much new lately. Getting an asda shop next week as for easy tea some nights like their gf chicken burgers and southern fried chicken burgers in free from range. My son is fetching me the m an s salmon fishcakes and the m and s cheese puffs when he comes in a fortnights time. How did you enjoy the asda sticky ginger cake ? X

The ginger cake was really nice, I actually forgot that I’ve still got some left. Hopefully it’s not stale as I will have some later 😆. I’ve not been to M&S in ages, will need to go back and get their samosas & spring rolls as not had them in ages.

Hello from Louisiana yall have great grocery prices love to see the different foods you have there i was wondering do you guys eat catfish there we love it here in Louisiana if you don't mind me asking

Hello! I also love to see the different foods that you have in the US. Some of the things are similar but just have different names. No, I don’t think we do eat catfish here. I’ve never seen it in the supermarkets but possibly may get it in the fishmonger. It’s mainly cod, haddock, salmon that we eat but they have started selling a fish called Pollock which isn’t that nice but I think that it is more sustainable. What do you have with it?

We love to make catfish poboys we will have fries or potato salad and very popular catfish with crawfish etouffe here in Louisiana

Add I love to make a good shrimp stew and we love seafood gumbo

I’ve never had gumbo before, will need to add that to my to try list. I think Louisiana food can be quite spicy can’t it? I don’t mind a bit of spice but the other two in this house aren’t keen on it 🙄. We call shrimp prawns over here and that is probably one of my favourite things to eat although I’ve never had it in a stew xx
