I was a big sainsburys shopper ovver 25 years now they've got these big sself service scanners and only 3 manned checkouts, so I now go to lidl and aldi,and they have cashiers thank god

Blimey I wish my local Sainsbury's was as well stocked as this one, nothing but empty spaces in mine, no new potatoes again this Friday, not enough staff refilling the shelves when something runs out, the staff are worked to the bone, our supermarkets need to buck up!

That's sad😔. It means everything depends on management. Your local one probably is not beeing managed well or just simply not enough staff😔 By the way, the new potato season is coming to an end. 😊

I noticed that British food stores have a very large selection of prepackaged food meals so the customer just has to do the finished cooking. Seems more costly.

Great to see the food selections and prices but please put back on the shelf as you found them. Neat and tidy. Think of the staff who spend the time arranging the food products neatly only to have customers moving items. We can see the majority of food items and prices without you handling them.

Sainsburies recently recalled all of there Chewy Granola bars and for the life of me I can't find out why. Was surviving on these things and recently lucked out when I get told there recalling all stock. I got told that they were not fit for sale because they accidently used the wrong milk. Were that the case could they not have added the words With Full Fat Milk. On a card and not lost out on any of there sales. Apart from that as an excuse I haven't found a whole reason and frankly can't believe the milk one. I just would have pulled a label like suggested and kept sales going. Cos tk max and a bunch of others recalled there Granolas too I can't think it's only the milk and probably more like coming from a mouldy dry store , like flour would trip you out with a hallucinogenic poison so your heads going while your throwing up your guts. I should imagine it's something more sereouse than a proxy milk mistake. Plus they have been off a bit longer than a batch being cooked with the wrong milk.

Wow prices in UK are so cheap. Cant imagine those prices in our grocery stores. People would go craxy

Some markets are more affordable, while others are more expensive. Lidl and Aldi are among the most affordable. However, you're right that prices in the UK can vary, sometimes being more expensive or cheaper compared to other countries.

They are in GBP ( £1:2$), taxes, rentals, clothes, travel, electric, council tax. UK is net more expensive
