Saint and Greavsie 1985/86-Visit to Stamford Bridge, Ron Chopper Harris, Gordon Banks and John Helm

A few clips from Saint and Greavsie mainly from 85/86. Jimmy visits Chelsea football ground where it all started for him in 1957 and speaks with Pat Nevin, John Hollins, George Anstiss and Chairman Ken Bates. Also contributions form John Major and Ron "Chopper" Harris.
Gordon Banks takes on a machine for testing keepers and at the end there are a few funnies with John Helm.

Jimmy Greaves doing the "old codger" act, saying how long ago it all was and how everything has changed since he was a young lad. Greavsie was only 45 when he did this.

Stamford Bridge used to be my favourite away ground, back in the 1980's and very early 1990's. The old North stand was brilliant to stand on as a terrace. Just a bit too far away from the pitch though.

I've been to many London grounds but never Stamford Bridge, I agree looking at the old Big matches on ITV that the stands look a long way away!

Pat Nevin ..might of played for Everton but very good player and very likeable as a pundit..ynwa
