Little did people of my generation know when we watched this show as young kids, that we were watching two of the greatest players ever to have come out of Britain. We just thought they were great, funny presenters. RIP Saint and RIP Greavsie. You were both brilliant.

Saddened to hear the news of Ian St John. Watched this show religiously back in the 80's, and loved his laugh whenever Jimmy would make jokes. A Liverpool Legend. My thoughts go out to his family. Thanks for the memories Ian. R.I.P.

Loved the Saint & Greavsie show growing up in the 1980s, both presented with great humor and were very natural, just a fun show , and I miss shows like these being on the box today

That theme tune brings it all back. As a child it was always Going Live on BBC1 then switch to Scottish for The ITV Chart Show followed by S&G. That was Saturday mornings for me back then. RIP Saint. 1938-2021 Thanks for the laughs.

Nik Reece unfortunately football will never get back to how it was at that time. There’s too much money involved now. And you’re right, 3 weeks before hillsborough when unfortunately football would change forever. I won’t watch modern football because of the way it’s gone. I prefer to revisit these times when I used to go and watch United home and away every week.
