Mine is, too! My middle name is Elizabeth and my sister’s middle name is Anne. As children we made a pact to take each other’s middle name for our Confirmation name, and we did! My father used to tell me that my name is after the name of Mary's mom, I believe him, but I search for proofs, I can't find it in the bible, and finally found one which is this. Instead of Anne he translate it in tagalog word, to Ana, which means gracious and mercyful, they use to call me Nana, which means Different. Now I know who St. Anne is😊

My confirmation name is St. Anne I pick the name myself when I was young because I thought it was amazing to be the mother of Mary. She cares and watches over Mary all the time. I always pray to her to watch over me and my niece who is very sick and disable particularly when I am so tired, weak and need rest. St. Anne please continue to intercede also for me to Mary and Jesus for the cure of my cancer. St. Anne I am so worried about my niece whom I have taking care of since her birth. Please watch over her while I received my chemo. Help relieved her of the fears of my failing health and help relieved her of some of her physical disability. Amen.

I remember going on pilgrimage every summer with my grandmother. The last time i were there was in the early 70s. After that we kids were sent to stay at our aunt's home. Grandma passed away in 81.
