@@harrisen9136 Utter nonsense. Hitler was just abusing the good nature of German people cultivated by Christiandom for his own nefarious purposes. He quite literally tried to destroy everything that made Germany great. He gets a pass because people think he EXCLUSIVELY targeted the jews. Well would have been better if he just did that, although distasteful, but his target was German aristocracy and the noble German christian culture.

So in summary, the saint killed the tree of Thor but ultimately, Thor's warriors killed the saint. But the difference is that when the tree "died", the faith of its believers also died. On the other hand, when the saint died, the faith and number of his believers only grew. Herein lies true power- but it was revealed only in death. Sometimes the only way to know the actual power of something is to kill it and see if it can live on, even after death.

Of course you would, as worth scriptures but your protestantism gives no ground for the credibility of these tales, let alone the gospels you've denied any Church, and thus deny the apostles and early church fathers who brought us down teachings from Jesus himself.
@weast6388
@weast6388 10 күн бұрын
@@MadolcheGabbana I don't deny the churches. I don't think that Roman Catholics, Eastern Orthodox, or even Oriental Orthodox are not true churches in the body of Christ. There's definitely things I disagree with in them. The least being the EO, but regardless I don't see how being a protestant means that I have no connection to the past. Before the great schism there was one holy Catholic church. Now it has been split and there's differences everywhere between people. But I don't think that should result in any animosity between us.
@MadolcheGabbana
@MadolcheGabbana 10 күн бұрын
@weast6388 Jesus is the church. Let's just get that smoothed out. Roman Catholicism has it wrong and Peter is not the rock upon the foundation that Christianity was built, that was Jesus himself for it is in him that the gates of hell never prevailed, not in institutions of men. But protestantism and protesting of a proposal is very close to Satan's ideals and world view of questioning authorities implemented by Christ Jesus that we see in the gospels and in acts I was an atheist for 25 years and 2 more after that agnostic. I could read the gospels as much as any person, like a Muslim or JW, or Mormon, or Free Mason, etc. or occultists or protestants, and come to your own conclusion but it doesn't make those views correct. As a new believer in God and then Christ, I to more or less as non denomination, I didn't and still don't accept the Catholic church, or others but I had to yield to how tradition and knowledge was passed on and upheld, especially with how God/Jesus told us to do such things. There is this reality that God seems to work through this idea of most answers being a combination of things. Sola scriptura has led to many issues, as it did in Jesus time of which he had to correct. Oral and written traditions both need to be looked at and the apostolic authority needs to be respected of men God had deemed fit to do so and personally chose. RC is satanic if not Masonic Same with Calvanism etc. Same with Mormons and JW as Joseph Smith and Charles Taze Russell were Free Masons themselves Occultic people infiltrated the church, wolves in sheep's clothing and made many schisms.

@@weast6388 There is only one Holy Apostolic church and that it the Orthodox Church. Not the heretical Roman church or it's offshoots. I don't say this to demean you or hurt you. I believe Luther himself would have gone back to Orthodoxy if he had the opportunity to go to Mt. Athos and spend time with the Orthodox. I know the day will come where we all will be one Holy church of Orthodox brothers and sisters in Christ. We are all Orthodox and our lost sheep must return home. Bonifartius did not destroy Donar. Donar still exists today. What Bonifartius did in his extreme one-sidedness is worlds worse than many can imagine. He interrupted the flow of life by destroying an ancient sacred tree. In doing so, he not only brought ruin to the old world, but also condemned everything and everyone in all worlds! The result of this is still visible to everyone today. Many monotheists as well as atheists are more blind in their simple-mindedness to recognize the damage that this bonifartius has done to all of us and to correctly assess its consequences! And such a joke figure is still "celebrated" today... Find the mistake!

@@nathansongsnob7335it’s not a legit religion, it’s a cult. Thor isn’t real. Lightning isn’t caused by Thor bashing his hammer against things, it’s atmospheric static electricity. There’s not two wolves chasing the moon and the sun, there’s no big snake surrounding the world. It’s one thing to claim that these are just stories and not literal- but the problem with pretty much every mythology is that it’s supposed to be taken literally. Yeah there’s things in the Bible that seem just as outlandish but the difference is that it’s figurative language. A few of the stories in Genesis aren’t supposed to be taken literally. Lightning is LITERALLY created when Thor slams his hammer against objects like mountains or Jötnar. The thunder is the sound of his hammer echoing. We know this to be wrong.

I too enjoy learning the history of Christian evangelism, but this isn't saint worship- it's remembering and honoring the life of a man whom loved and lived in a deep relationship with Him on earth (and now in Heaven); through this man God brought more people home into His family/kingdom the Church. Just like how God had Moses perform miraculous acts in Exodus ( along with countless other biblical saints), God also worked- and still works- through those who love Him throughout history.

By cutting down that tree he demonstrated the fact that their Gods didn't exist . This one act resulted in many listening to his message and converting to the true faith .by doing what he did he brought an end to the worship of Thor and other pagan Gods . Which is same as erasing him or killing him .today the so called neopagans don't even have a consistent theology .their religion is a joke and it's all based on the writings of christians .and let's also be honest they don't even fully believe in what they claim to worship or worship their Gods like they were worshipped in the past .all their sacred sites were either destroyed or had a church built on them .The european kings and the church had been thorough in killing these pagan Gods .

The following verse and this comment is given with love from a messenger of God to all Catholics. Catholicism is Mystery, Babylon the great of Revelation 17. This is not said to insult. Both mine, and more importantly God's desire is that all come to repentance. Revelation 18:4 commands all who are God's people to leave Catholicism. "And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues." -Revelation 18:4 I was not always a Christian myself. I was a part of one of Mystery Babylon's harlot daughters, the Lutheran church. God pulled me out of that and into the grace of Jesus Christ. By commandment of God, I proclaim salvation to all. As soon as I post this comment, God willing KZbin doesn't delete it, I will pray for all of you. Blessed be the name of the Lord.
