This man is buried in a park in the Philippines named after him, namely the Justo Ukon Wakayama park in front of the former Philippine National Railway main building. In fact, his statue still stands there up to this day, serving as the marker for Plaza Dilao which, in the time of the Spaniards, was the usual meeting place of exiled Japanese Christian & their descendants.

Sr Francis Xavier arrived in Melaka my hometown in West Malaysia following the Portuguese conquest of the port city in 1511. He visited Melaka several times and performed various miracles including raising the dead. He sailef from Melaka to Japan to preach the Gospel and wanted to do likewise in China but succumbed to illness before reaching China. His incorruptible body was interred in Melaka and later exhumed and now lies in Goa, India. We have a Church and school named after him in Melaka.❤

Christianity is the epitome of Honour and Strength, only most people are too deluded to see it. Christianity has a history full of warriors who value life and seek not to destroy it but to preserve it. To preserve life sometimes we must destroy those who would do us harm and spread evil amongst us. Anyone who claims to be a Christian and yet has not fundamentally changed in all they hold true and dear is not a Christian at all. True Christians are far rarer than we’re led to believe. Most will fall. This is not a game we’re playing.

I've been puzzled. My parent was a teen in Nagasaki @ the time of the hit. At the time of the hit, Nagasaki & Hiroshima were the largest & highest densities of Christians likely in the whole of Asia. She stated the hits SAVED the people in the nation - there was no other means to end & free Japan from the visc0us unlimited ongoing tyr.anny. Seems the Takayama story is an earlier uncovering of the reality.

@viktoriyaserebryakov2755
@viktoriyaserebryakov2755 17 күн бұрын
This is false. The bombs were never necessary, the Japanese never refused to surrender they refused to surrender unconditionally. That is a colossal difference. Considering the r"pe of Germany after WW1 leading to WW2, they were correct to refuse unconditional surrender. So they planned to await the arrival of the Soviets to create a stalemate between the US and Soviets, thus forcing the US to negotiate. The Americans did not want to wait for that.

The Philippines was already largely Catholic at that time. So I doubt it that Nagasaki and Hiroshima were the largest populations. I would rather say that both cities were the most Christian cities in Japan. Manila was greatly devasted in WWII during the Battle of Manila with around 100,000 casualties. @@deadmoney5580

Interested in this era? You should check out the movie, “Silence”. (2016) It’s about this time period & these struggles. 3 A-List Actors and superb supporting cast. The movie was based on a book. Video games that are similar to this… hmm… these focus more on different aspects. I personally love Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Faith based game if you look closely, main character holds his Rosary very close 📿. Also, if you use the Holy Rod and pause the screen at the right frame, you’ll see something… Also, I enjoy the Spiritual Warfare that Alucard engages in with the main villain. “Furi” is another game I enjoy with the sprinkles of Faith in there. Star Wars: Fallen Order is great with espousing the Faith while still having to kick some booty! 🥾😆 Lastly, I recommend “El-Shaddai: Journey to the Metatron” it’s a Faith based game and it’s beautiful. (Hope you can find some pleasure in these 🙏🏼📿) 🌹

So did yall forget to add that Japan outlawed Christianity mainly because of Catholicism and spain along with portugal claimed Japanese territory and meddled in Feudal Japans politics instead of just focusing on spreading the gospel.

Yeah, indeed the European have a malicious intentions to begin with --not just to spread the Gospel and preserving the Christian's sanctity of faith, but their banner of "God, Gold, Glory". Basically introducing God first as a book's cover and front page. Then the book's content is about looting and plundering that lands resources after they have a complete grasp with their hands or made all people a believer which they could easily decieve just by using the word "will of God". Friars acting as if their words is god

I used to think like this also, I was atheist for about 6 years. I thought people who believed in GOD were stupid until HE revealed HIMSELF. Go to GOD talk to HIM sincerely don’t be afraid HE already knows your mind.. tell HIM about your doubt your fears be sincere of heart.. you will see HE will dig you out of whatever pit you are in.. also examine your life maybe some of your decisions has cost you but GODS mercy is endless n plentiful. HE will give you the strength to pull through and fill you with joy. You must not let doubt overcome you. Learn of faith and befriend it.

really. the first sentence. SINCE WHEN IS THE CATHOLIC CHURCH TRUTH.
@gioariza3728
@gioariza3728 8 күн бұрын
That time when the Church still don't have such a hierarchal authority --when the term Pope was not yet invented and ain't yet claimed to be the Vicar of Christ, and their worship from idols (venerating the Saints as if they where God), didn't pray for the dead to be save from hell. It's during the time of the early Christian when believers are still a minority and only follows what written and taught in the Bible and Jesus alone.

I wish I could've married into the Japanese Empire. I would have made Japan a Land of Hope and Love rather than forced slavery and despair. God I pray the 1% become the 99. In Jesus' name I pray.
