@@kut2459 The west is becoming more secular that is true and in fact, there are more non religious people in the UK than all Catholics & Anglicans and other Protestants combined. Without that traditional religious Christian foundation that helped shape and build the west, it's no wonder that Islamic mullahs see Europe as vulnerable and have been pushing for unrestricted Islamic migration to Europe. Gaddafi once said that he wants 50 million or more Muslims migrating to Europe. Also, the Catholic Church is growing in both Africa and Asia and I saw a recent statistic that the Catholic population in the US has increased by 2 million people.

I just hope these men become good priests in terms of their love for God and obedient to His church, the Catholic church. they need to encourage the faithful to know the faith and read the Bible. probably more than 90% of catholics have not read the gospels, do not believe that Jesus is truly present in the eucharist, confused on the trinity, especially younger people, that's why a lot of them leave. young people have so many questions and doubts about the faith because priests do not teach them catechism during sermons. stop the vapid sermons and just concentrate on the creeds of the church and the catechism. they can quell all the questions of the faithful simply by proclaiming the creeds such as the nicean, constantinopolitan, athanasian, and chalcedonian creeds. a lot of the questions have been answered answered centuries ago. the work is to continually repeat them
