Fell into this interview by chance. I am honored that I did. I am a fan of Saint Levant. I admire the humanity and humbleness. I hope he doesn’t lose any of it. He is so influential and inspirational to so many people, including non Arabs. I teach dance at college. He is a role model for one of my students. I have also used his music to choreograph to. Please don’t change. Yes you are paving the way to a bright future for our people, especially Arab, especially Palestinian artists.
Such a great moment to see! The interviewer did a fantastic job! Free Palestine! 🇵🇸

Every person has a duty to spread Awareness, to tell the story, to read about history. We can't be silenced in front of such atrocities. We won't be silenced.

It's crazy to see their reaction to when their government peacefully removes them off stolen land that was taken by force and separated Palestinian families who had no time to pack. They experienced maybe 10% of what Palestinians experience.

I am surprised that the interviewer has the Palestinian flag draped over his chair. This contravenes the basic principle that a chairperson should be outwardly politically neutral. Of course, nobody is politically neutral, but there should not be an open bias in the chair.

Nothing is politically neutral. Though humanity will always be humanity.

In a time of great moral crisis, there is no “neutral”. There’s just moral cowardice vs. standing with humanity.

@@heather725 Western objectivity is a myth and an indication of privilege. There is nothing admirable about being politically neutral in the face of racism and an extermination campaign. If you’re uncomfortable with him supporting oppressed people, say that and go.

You really should fact check what is said as there’s so much that he said that’s flat out wrong. Very disappointed in one of the top universities in the world for putting this out with his prejudices, hate and lies allowed unchecked.

So much misinformation here. Safed used to be all Jewish as well as Hebron but in 1517 and 1834 the Arabs attacked the Jews and drove them out. Also the Arabs first arrived in the Levant during the brutal Siege of Jerusalem 636-637ce. There were no Arab tribes recorded in Judea (where the Jews were founded) or The Kingdom of Israel, Canaan or The Kingdom of Judah. The Islamic conquests conquered and colonised the whole of the Middle East, erased thousands of tribes, cultures, religions, names etc and arabised them.

habibti, what are you talking about ? palestinians of today are the descendants of the canaans and certainly descendants of crossings between canaans and the other ethnicities that settled in that region, so even if they have arab ancestors they also have canaan ancestors that are the indigenous people of that region, and their ancestors were jews at some point in history.. We're all one big family, if only you could see that
@foresthoagАй бұрын
Palestine was identified by the ancient Egyptians, and Jerusalem predates the arrival of Jews. Jews from the Levant were always Palestinians, along with Christians and Muslims. Jesus Christ was, in fact, a Palestinian Jew.
