This song makes me think of a very specific scenario. Two childhood or high school friends meet again after a good swath of time with little to no contact. The perspective character (or singer), has gotten into shady & questionably moral but highly profitable risky business & is trying to convince their old friend to get into it, exploiting the nostalgia their former relationship brings & reassuring them that they're still that good kid they met all that time ago. Since the song has a very spy thriller vibe to it, I'd like to think the shady friend is hiring the good friend to be a hitman & actually succeeds in getting them into into the fold- the marks getting more & more morally dubious as the instrumental gets more intense & sinister. With the final drop the song goes out on playing as the good friend breaks out of the shady friend's trance & escapes the business or gives them a taste of the medicine they themselves bought.

some of the scenes i could imagine this song to: 1. a spy, nimble and fast, jumping from rooftop to rooftop in the shadows. all you can see is the glimpses of streetlights reflecting off their eyes. you cant even feel their presence as they look down at a deal between the two main villains. they realize that the two sides want to both fight against her and her hero side. 2. a car chase on the streets of paris (or some other big city) this song blasting on the villains radio as the hero chases just behind them. whipping in and out of cars just missing them as the suspense rises. just as the hero is close enough to almost reach the villain dives out of the car into an ally as the auto drive keeps the car going. 3. the villain takes one of the good guys in, he’s found out this hero is a spy leaking what the villains plans are to the other hero’s. instead of telling this hero he just slowly convinces him to join his side, for real. promising him things his hero friends cant. 4. a detective searching for a serial killer, one who after finding out he was on the case murdered his best friend. as the detective finally finds him at a bar he slowly gets closer and closer, but the killer sees him and runs out. as the detective is sprinting he sees the memories of his best friend flash through his head. this was personal now. please comment other thoughts and ideas! i love this kinda stuff ahah

In the Final episode of an epic crime drama, the main character has disappeared, presumed dead, right as the villain is closing in. Everyone is getting cornered by the villain's forces and on the run. Government organizations are getting turned against them and hunting them. In a last ditch attempt the cast attacks the villains headquarters. They get surrounded by an army of cops, FBI, and mob members. The villain monologues about how they can't be stopped. In the last moment before they're all killed... giant lights come on bleaching the scene. The silhouette of the main character appears and a flash-back montage plays of how they orchestrated everything and they explain their proof. Slowly... everyone, even the mob members, turn their guns on the villain.

For those confused about the comment order, a channel can choose the default order of comments. Most channels just leave it on "Top Comments" which is a mix of the most liked comments and recent comments that have received a significant amount of likes compared to other recent comments. Saint Motel must have switched this option to "Newest First" which shows the newest comments, regardless of likes. You can change this back for yourself however, by selecting "Sort By" near the comment box and choosing "Top Comments". Hope this helps! Edit: On mobile the “Sort By” button is next to the X to close the comments tab.
