Thank you, Roy. Finding your channel as a born Jew & former atheist has been a huge blessing. Being led out of some messianic flavour of evangelism by our Blessed Mother Miriam into the Holy Catholic Church has given me such peace and rest for my exhausted soul, and such joy & hope that now I'll be able to be fed correctly in order to live out my faith by doing good works, fulfilling perfect religion as it is written in James 1:27. This Catholic faith is the most beautiful thing on earth and the Holy Eucharist is by far THE most gorgeous of all. In praying for the revelation of my patron saint, I've been strongly drawn to Edith Stein. Thank you for this detailed video of her life, service & sacrifice. 🌸🕯️🙏🕯️🌸

A number of my relatives fled to Argentina -- they were just grateful to be let in anywhere! The US didn't let any fleeing Jews in during the Holocaust at all. My mother had to wait out the war years in Cuba before finally being allowed in.

I just learned the other day that apparently Aristotle's telos end goal (spiritual destiny of the Ideal of the Good? Or is that just my Zoharic Neoplatonism showing?) of a thing is the foundation of epistemology nature and origins of knowledge of 7/8 classic branches (counting psychology as 6/7 and axiology as 7/8)- it just reminded me of your Phenomenology explanation; I had to watch this since yesterday was her saint day

Thanks so much Roy for this wonderful show. You mentioned how the biography by Edith Stein’s mother superior was edited again and again to be more PC. Do you mean the book ‘Edith Stein, the life of a philosopher and Carmelite’ by Teresa Renata Posselt, edited by Susanne Batzdorff? I just bought it, but I would hate it if it doesn’t show Edith as she really was. Is there another book on her that is more faithful to her theology? Thanks so much in advance!

No, I was referring to thee one by Herbstrith. But Batzdorff is very Jewish, very dismissive of the legitimacy of "Aunt Edith"'s conversion.

And there is more, on October 12th Christopher Columbus set foot on land on his first trip. So the Virgin Mary of the Pillar, ( Virgen del Pilar) as is where she appeared to St James, is the patron saint of all Spanish speaking countries, and is celebrated on October 12th
